My sweet Maggie has left us this evening to join her sister Molly, and Pixie, Penny and Lola over the 🌈
Her 17 years and 3 weeks are now over and her life has been somewhat of a challenge as of late, which we suspect kidney failure and dementia have been escalating.
Her and Molly were my first proper pets, joining me when they were 3 months old and I was 34 in my Littlehampton flat. Maggie has been with me through several house moves, several boyfriend break-ups, and put up with several terriers. She hardly ever needed the vets and her 'gifts' she brought in were minimal.
This week and the last few, have been hard with her behaviour and appetite decline and I made the decision to let her go. Annie waited patiently and quietly the other side of the lounge door, and has been able to see her afterwards to help her process that Maggie is gone.
Her final journey will be tomorrow morning with Annie and I, when we es**rt her to The Meadows Pet Crematorium
Thankyou must also go to and VetsCarePets for coming this evening and making this whole process easier and calmer in a home environment.

Some lovely words gratefully received from a regular cat customer.
You'll recall my recent 3 week stint where Tiggy had returned home after 4 weeks and she's now reunited with her family who are delighted!
Nan and I kept her happy and entertained for 2.5 weeks indoors until her family came home, and it was worth it!

Bailey and I had a totally awesome time at the beach today. Off we went for a whole hour, paddling, splashing and sniffing...and hurdling the breakwaters!

It's that sad day in my calendar again. My beautiful Pixie gained her wings 🌈 3 years ago today at 9pm. Annie and I will be down at 'Pixie's spot' on the beach having fish and chips for tea later - something Pixie and I did 3 days before she passed away. Last year, Lola and I did the same. Welcome to Miss Pixie’s Pets!

Founded in June 2020, we are a local and friendly pet care service, offering solo and compatible dog walking and care at home for your best friend, specialising in elderly and special needs dogs, as I have two of my own!

A little about me...I have had a passion for animals my whole life but have worked primarily in fashion retail management and have years of service experience. More recently I managed the local RSPCA dog and cat rescue/rehoming centre and worked closely with behaviourists, vets and trainers gaining extensive knowledge of animal welfare and care.

During this 5 year period, I adopted Pixie my beloved West Highland White Terrier (now 11), and blind/toothless old lady Yorkie/Chihuahua/Poodle Penny, (a sketchy 13). I was already chief staff to Maggie, a 13 year old black and white cat, who’s sister Molly sadly passed away with cancer in late 2019. They have all been very good product testers for the services I can offer!
