As if we needed a better reminder as to why not litter than seeing the actual trash on the sides of the road, Matthew Hollin found this poor rabbit while working today. He said one of the plastic pieces was embedded into the rabbits neck. Wait till you get home to throw away your garbage, or at least take it to a gas station. Almost all of them have trash cans at the pumps. And PLEASE cut or ripe these evil plastic rings into pieces!!!

We took a break but for a good reason, we acquired a new farm hand and have been helping her learn the ropes. We’re still here, chasing cows and fighting off coyotes. If anyone wondered what feeding time looks like when you have 20 chickens 2 turkeys 3 sheep and 10 goats.

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone here on the farm! We wish you all a safe, blessed, family filled day! Roy also wanted to remind everyone to eat beef tomorrow. I told him that’s not how it works but he wouldn’t have it.

The bunnies love their evening salads, I love hearing them crunch on the veggies.
