HAPPY ENDINGS!!

These sweet girls went home together to sweet couple who refer to them already as “the princesses”!

Seriously, their new family loves Olivia Grace not in spite of her blindness but because of it - and Sophia because she is the best seeing-eye kitty in the world!

These girls will only know love from now on!

Thank you to their sweet new family!! And thank you Dana Rouse for being their first most loving family!!

PLEASE HELP!

Our sweet blind senior kitty - who turns out to be a BOY after all - had his first vet visit today. His name was Destanie - now he is Destin!

He is quite elderly, according to the vet, and his blood pressure was too unstable to sedate him to get the matts out of his fur just yet.

He also has a significant heart murmur.

The vet thinks he may have had high blood pressure for sometime which could have caused his blindness.

He is so gentle and loving - we feel sure he was a pet that got lost or was put out sometime ago.

NOW we need to take him for a cardiologist visit to evaluate his heart murmur and get a reliable blood pressure reading so we can know whether he can safely be sedated for dental cleaning or whether he needs blood pressure medication.

We are committed to maintain his health and quality of life.

But his medical costs will be substantial.

His vet bill today was $257.

He will need more care when we see the cardiologist.

Today volunteers from Paddy’s Friends visited some of the residents at Spring Arbor Cottage. The kitties loved the attention and we saw lots of smiles all around the room. We are so happy the cats who had a bleak future before coming to us were able to pay it forward and brighten the day for members of our community.

READY FOR FOREVER HOME

Meet Moss - sweet and funny 10-week-old boy! He is both playful and cuddly! He gets along well with other cats and people.

He has not been tested with dogs or young children but he is sociable and laid back - we feel with slow introduction he can adjust to most any lifestyle. Ideally we would like him to have a cat buddy in the home. We reduce the adoption fee for the second cat if you adopt him with a sibling or buddy from us.

Moss’s mama cat Klover came to us with her tiny babies who were born Oct 30. She is being spayed this week and will need a home of her own soon too!

We have been loving on her and her sweet babies and they are ready for their own homes now too!

Moss will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV/ FELV in the next few weeks and will be available for adoption at that time.

He would do best in a quiet home with another cat buddy. He starts out shy, but once comfy he is a purr machine who loves his pets. He really loves to play with wand toys and untie your shoelaces!
