I was searching for a dog for my dad and got a message about him. He was located in Utah and was spending most of his day in a travel kennel, getting attacked by the bigger shepherd in the household and never received any training or probably love. When we first arrived to meet him he was VERY skittish and scared but tucked into my lap right away, that’s when I knew I found my boy. I didn’t pick him, he picked me! After he tucked into my lap he walked with me and when we were going to load him in the truck and the noise scared him he tucked his head into my chest and trusted me to lift him into the truck. Where he’s sitting in the photo below is where he sat for a 4 1/2 hour car ride, refusing to leave my side. The day we got him home he was still pretty skittish and didn’t really know what he was doing within an hour he knew how to follow me on command, stopped pulling at his leash, and gained an incredible focus and happy prance❤️
