📣🐾ANNOUNCEMENT🐾📣

We are moving!! My calendar is now closed to new clients. After four wonderful years of training the dogs of Holloman Air Force Base and Alamogordo, Best Paw Forward Dog Training is off to train more dogs of the world!

We aren’t going too far, just popping one state over to San Antonio, Texas. I’ll post again if/when I open my calendar back up after our move. We hope to see you there! 🐾

I’m back!! After a wonderful 3 months of maternity leave I’ve started to slowly take on new clients.

Stay tuned as I continue to grow and expand my knowledge with every new dog I meet. I’m super excited for this next chapter of Best Paw Forward Dog Training!

Happy Monday everyone!

With the expectant arrival of our second baby boy this October, I will be closing my calendar the first week of September. That being said, I will only be taking new clients from now until July 16th. This will give us time to prepare for a new baby and to soak up our last few weeks as a family of 3.

Meet my sweet Josey girl who has been attending sessions with me since early 2018! She is my perfect assistant and loves to help other dogs with their reactivity and nerves around new friends. She’s my favorite coworker and we’re so excited to help more dogs feel comfortable around and walking past other dogs!🐾🐶

Adding a place command is a great way to redirect and simmer down some of the crazies when play time is over, or even when cooking dinner!

Tex already knew “go to bed” before he started training but now it’s our job to help fine-tune this command and help him stay there longer!

Some before and afters of Barley’s session today . He put in so much amazing work that he is drained for his nice car ride home.

We are focusing a lot on teaching him how to manage his energy around strangers and distractions so mom can take him on outings with her!

🐶🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨🐶
In conjunction with yesterday’s thank you post I wanted to share that I have decided to take on a smaller work load. If you are currently on my calendar, you will remain on my calendar and we will finish your current package but I will not be adding new clients to my calendar for the time being. Those on my waitlist will also remain on my waitlist and I will reach out as soon as I am ready to increase my clientele again.

This past weekend we spent two nights in the hospital with our sick baby. The health and well being of my family needs to come first. This has been an extremely tough decision to make as training your amazing dogs is my life and favorite thing to do, but it is so hard to leave for work knowing my baby is sick and wants his mama.

Again, thank you all for your understanding during this past month and I look forward to helping you help your dog put their Best Paw Forward in the hopefully near future!
