Meet Blue. I spent three days caring for this beautiful sweet girl while her daddy was on a trip. I loved her playful energy, and her sweet welcome greetings as I arrived.

Althea’s doesn’t offer boarding or over night stays. I do offer multiple walks a day, daily feedings with fresh water changes, lots of love and just hanging out with your fur baby to provide comfort while you are away. If your pup does better in the comfort of their home I can most certainly work with you on a care plan to provide for their needs.

am a Downtown Indianapolis resident living in the Chatham Arch area with my two daughters and three pups; Louie an English Bulldog, Carini an English Bulldog and Dior Bleu a Siberian Husky. Of all my accomplishments motherhood is by far my greatest. My little family moved out of our big home in the suburbs to a small loft during the fall of 2020; at the beginning of Covid. Moving Downtown has proven to be a wonderful choice for us. Many new friendships, a beautiful city to explore, and some amazing local restaurants and shops we love supporting. When life seemed so abnormal the energy from the city gave us life. We love taking walks in our backyard and visiting our favorite dog friendly brewery . City living is the best!!

With over 15 years of experience caring for young children in my early childhood center I felt offering pet care services was a natural fit for me. Growing up with a gardener I picked up a love for plants. Upon moving into my loft I purchased a couple of plants and that couple has multiplied to many. Pets and animals bring peace into our homes. I understand the challenges of a work-life home-life balance and am here to serve your pet care and plant needs.

Meet Whopper a 4 year old Staffordshire terrier mix. Whopper was brought to a shelter when someone they saw him get thrown out of a car and rescued him. He was transported to Indy humane due to their highly rated medical staff. His leg had to be amputated because it was so mangled. He has scars all....
