We may have been quiet on social media lately, but we certainly haven’t been quiet at home! Between the day to day chores and continual infrastructure improvements (being dad’s right hand man), I’ve been poking along with possibly the nicest crop of babies I’ve ever been blessed with. Along with handling foals and prepping yearlings my little team of ridden horses, in my opinion are nothing short of absolute quality! A combination of home bred babies & and few brought in fillies to continue the vision I have! I couldn’t ask for anything more from these stunning 5 fillies & am certainly enjoying watching them grow & flourish!

Been in two weeks and couldn’t be any easier to prep!
Not due to be started for a few more months but I’ve done a fair bit with him and he won’t take much at all, very feely & sensible young horse.
Already standing around 14.2 at 17 months old so should mature well over 15HH.
Have retained several fillies out of this mare and been blessed with a full sister, hence the public offer on this fella.
Will make an ideal Nutrien Equine - Performance prospect or a nice gelding for the whole family!

A mare seen time & time again behind the lens of a performance horse photographer, competing at campdrafts all around the country and so often photographed in the winners circle. The broodmare paddock is certainly a new look for ”Lady Can Spin”(Seligman Spin), and doesn’t it suit her well.

We cannot thank Donna enough for entrusting us with Shannon’s care & to all our clients who entrust us with the care of their much loved mares.

Reproduction is such a special thing to be apart of! Continuing the legacy’s of these ever so loved & talented mares, we as a family are truely grateful to share these experiences with our clients.

As we approach the final weeks of our breeding season here at Morrison Equine I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all of our mare owners for your continued support throughout the 2022 season.

Lovely natured weanling with a depth of breeding and the eye appeal to succeed in any chosen discipline. His sire “Catskills IMP” had an extremely successful career in the cutting pen and dam bred by the ever successful champion thoroughbred stallion “Octagonal”

First foal for 2022 is on the ground!
We’ve been flat out for the last week so haven’t had the chance to take many photos, but here he is today at 1 week old.
This is the second time we’ve joined our beautiful Rosie to Yaven Spinaboon and could not be happier with the quality of these foals.

Rocky Rush run and done for another year and what a year it was for our team!
Couldn’t be any prouder of both our stallions and the champion who rides them. 👌🏽
Proud Lil Pepto Won the Open Dry work then backed it up by winning the Open Wet work to take out overall champion in the Open Challenge for the 2nd year in a row. 🥇

Yaven Spinaboon also hitting his straps with the = top score of the first go round of the Open Campdraft with a 91 and having to run the cut out off for another great yard also winning that. 👌🏽

Luke and I would both like to extend our thanks to the rocky rush committee, volunteers & sponsors for the mass amount of time and effort it takes to run these shows.

Proud Lil Pepto mare HUNTER VIEW CONMAZE wins 2022 Nutrien Equine Classic Campdraft with defending Champion Ben Hall, who is now the only person to have won 3 TIMES.

Conmaze was purchased through Nutrien in 2020 by Ben & Cheri Stanger off previous Proud Lil Pepto jockey Warwick Lawrence & his wife Fiona.

PJ is one of our 2019 home bred fillies. We are just around the corner from starting her training.

We’ve had a great weekend down at the local bushman’s carnival! Luke and I decided to jump on board and sponsor a horsemanship award for a few youth kids! These kids gave 100% over the whole carnival! They may not have won every class but rode without fault & showed appreciation to their horses after each event. Both these kids were great sports encouraging others in their aged events and showed thanks to the committee for running such a great event for them!

Also a shoutout to Heath & Connor Hickmott, two awesome young fellas that had fun all day and made an effort to come and thank organisers at the end of the event for the day!

Tosie is a 2016 drop gelding by Tassa Lena Stallion “Tassas Chiquita Acre” out of a Seligman Spin mare. He is not currently registered but can be fully AQHA papered.
He was started earlier in 2021 but had very minimal riding since as I was out for a good part of the year with a leg injury. He was brought back in a few weeks ago, with no dirt in him after the spell.
He’s a nice quiet gelding with a great nature and super easy to have around, he will most definitely make a good kids horse IN TIME but for now will only be sold to an experienced rider as he still needs miles before he’s a set horse.

He has had a start tracking cattle & bison showing plenty of interest & well on the way to establishing a nice dry work pattern.
He certainly has the ability to become a competitive horse.

Tosie offeres a sound, reliable gelding, with a depth of breeding. Suitable now for general riding & station work, would most definitely train out & make a competitive cow horse.
