It is a little-known fact – perhaps, completely overlooked – but did you know that Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ is 100% made here, in the USA?

The plants, the starting raw material, are grown and harvested in Tennessee. The manufacturer selects the crop and gathers it itself to ensure that only the best quality material is in their product. The process of transforming raw materials into the biological product calls for using several chemical reagents also manufactured in Tennessee or neighboring Kentucky.

Sometimes it is difficult to get a solid diagnosis. Tests can produce false positives. Diseases can have similar symptoms. This is not a problem if you start treating your cat with Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ and it turns out your cat does not have the disease. It upregulates innate immunity regardless of the presence of the disease. Healthy cats in our safety studies remained healthy.

The top question we receive about Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ is about its safety.

Yes! The safety of Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ has been tested in 390 cats in 10 states and used for disease control in close to 800 cats, several dozen ferrets, dogs, birds, and mice. No adverse events were reported.

Safety is our top priority!

Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ is a prescription medicine approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the treatment of feline rhinotracheitis. It does this by helping your cat's body restore its innate immunity.

Feline Herpes Virus 1 (FHV-1) is the cause of feline rhinotracheitis. It invades your cat, destroys its immunity, and causes inflammation. Inflammation makes your cat sick. The virus then becomes dormant, yet remains in the body forever. But immunity remains damaged, which allows opportunistic microorganisms to invade and grow.

The disease is caused by opportunistic bacteria that take advantage of the lost immunity. Treatment needs to rebuild immunity (the shield) and remove microbes. Antibiotics control bacteria. Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ rebuilds the immune system and restores protections.

Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ is an oral medication that comes in a sealed vial. A needle is required to draw up a dose before giving it to your cat. This can be challenging.

So we came up with an easy-to-use, needle-free vial adaptor. One adaptor can be used to dispense all of the doses contained in a single vial. Ask your vet to add the adaptor(s) to your prescription of Polyprenyl Immunostimulant. Email the script to [email protected], or fax it to 865-940-0042, or ask your veterinarian to use our online Vet Approval form.

To view our video tutorials on using the needle-free vial adaptor, please visit https://store.vetimmune.com/product/needle-free-vial-adaptor/

We love seeing progress toward health by cats treated with Polyprenyl Immunostimulant. Toby, a FeLV patient, is one of those happy furry faces. His mommy posted his story on one of the groups.

"We adopted Toby at 4 months old from a rescue who said he was FeLV negative. He was quickly introduced to our 18-month-old cat, and they took to each other immediately. For 3 months, they shared everything. When Toby’s enlarged lymph nodes failed to resolve, extensive testing and a trip to a vet internist showed he had FeLV, which was progressive. The internist told us to immediately rehome Toby as our other cat was at high risk. We had the other cat, Annie, tested, and she was negative. She was vaccinated against FeLV, and we tried to keep them separate while the 2-dose FeLV vaccine would be effective. Our primary vet was not so emphatic about rehoming Toby but did say that even vaccinated Annie was at risk, but it wasn’t a huge risk. We found Toby a temporary foster home knowing he may end up in a shelter. On our way to rehome him, we just couldn’t do it and made the incredibly personal choice to keep both and have Annie vaccinated yearly.

Today Toby is 2.5 years old and mostly asymptomatic. We do feed separately with Surefeed microchip dishes and scrupulously clean the litter and water bowls throughout the day, but they share everything else. It’s a risk we decided we could live with as both cats were equally loved, and it was impossible to choose who to keep. We do the following: both cats get a Proviable probiotic daily, and Toby gets daily Imuquin; both products are reasonably priced and available from Chewy or online. Toby gets semi-annual checkups and bloodwork. He also gets an off-label immunomodulator called Polyphynel Immunostimulant from VetImmune for over 1.5 years. It’s not approved for anything except the feline herpes virus, but the idea is to keep the viral load down for FeLV. So far, other than slightly low neutrophils (my vet wasn’t concerned), his exam and lab work were good. Again personal choice to allow mingling and nothing is 100%, but we have no regrets".

Many cat guardians want to know if a medication is easy to give to their cat. Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ has been formulated for oral administration. This is generally easier for both cats and their humans. However, your veterinarian may order a different route.

Always check with your veterinarian if you have any questions about administering PI or in general.

Histopathology came back. Good news. No trace of FIP in Bella. Seems Bella’s treatment of PI alone had ‘cured’ her.
The same lab who diagnosed Bella with FIP in 2012 did these 2023 labs.

If you are a veterinarian fan and care for more detailed pathology report, pm me.

We received the best Christmas gift of all, from Blue and his family. Blue's Dad writes: "Our boy Blue continues to improve and flourish with the Polyprenyl Immunostimulant (P.I.) treatment regimen. I will attach all his records for you below from the study period since May 12, 2021 when we began the P.I. treatment protocol 226 days ago. Blue has responded so very well to the P.I. treatment; his behavior, appetite, and bodyweight are vastly improved from the worst days back in the first half of 2021 when we feared FIP would kill Blue quite swiftly. Once we got the P.I. treatment established and stable, and allowed him to settle into this protocol, Blue has regained a truly great quality of life and seems quite happy and normal all the time now. His bloodwork also shows tremendous improvement despite the lingering but slowly improving anemia. My wife , our daughter and I are so very grateful to you all for producing and sharing the Polyprenyl Immunostimulant therapy - we believe it is a real lifesaver for Blue. And we hope that our participation in the P.I. FIP Study will allow you to take this treatment to more cat owners to help their cats survive FIP with great quality of life too."

Merry Christmas to Blue and his family! Thanks for the gift of trusting us and getting better!
