City of Opelousas: You have a problem with animals at large, hot & searching for water, hungry & looking for food. They run loose, breeding & creating more litters which compound your problem, now outbof control. Out of towners often wonder what’s going on with animals running Opelousas streets or sadly dead in our streets . Why continue to pour our tax dollars into a totally ineffective department? How about reimbursing the parish shelter to accept animals from the city? This is not working.
