Awesome work Ubuntu Wildlife Trust!

We just replenished the PetEMed stocks for Manyoni Private Game Reserve and Zululand Conservation Trust. The previous units were used to help save dog lives after incidental poisoning events. The units can not only be used for things like Temik, but also xylitol, certain poisonous plants and insects, chocolate, nuts, and more (information on www.petemed.org).

The Manyoni and Zululand Conservation Trust K9's are on the frontlines of rhino conservation as well as being loved companions at home.

Thank you to Ubuntu Wildlife Trust for their generous sponsorship of 60 Petemed syringes. SANParks’ K9 Manager, Johan de Beer, gratefully receiving them from Brendyn Fahy at the K9 centre near Phabeni (KNP). The syringes will be carried by rangers and K9 handlers as part of their essential equipment when out on patrol.

With the cold settling in we want to take some warm blankets to the SPCA. To help with this we have 3 𝘑𝘖𝘑𝘖 𝘖𝘸𝘭 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 up for grabs. All contributions will go towards our blanket project. The starting offer is 𝘙450 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘸𝘭 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦. If you are interested in housing an owl (note the house comes without an occupant 😜) please contact Tania (084 680 1025) on WA. From the SPCA: We are entering a vicious winter this year and the SPCA and other animal shelters are in panic stations. Many folk who find themselves out of work, are dumping their cats and dogs at the SPCA, as they cannot afford to feed them. There are not enough beds and blankets to keep the destitute animals warm at night.The SPCA is desperately appealing for ANY old blankets, towels, pillows, cushions, any pieces of material or linen off-cuts, even bathroom or door mats. Please think of the sad & cold unwanted pets, that must endure the cold temperatures at night. Please see if you have ANYTHING that you can donate to improve their quality of life. It does not matter if it's old and torn blankets or towels, it will still be warm. Thank YOU...Your contribution will be highly appreciated.🙏🏻❤🐹🐾
