Had a great time competing Indi in the novice classes yesterday - despite the rain she knuckled down and showed our hard work starting to pay off! Thank you as always to her owner Claire Foster, and also to Caroline Leng for hosting BD qualifiers at your lovely home ❤️🦄

Great day yesterday at La Haie Fleurie Stables for Jerseys first BD event of the year. The lovely Indi owned by Claire Foster won both her classes with just shy of 69% in the novice, and over 66% in the elementary with a couple of rider errors. Carolyn Watson‘s Bella showed her potential with some super work in the prelim classes, but unfortunately found her first party a little overwhelming meaning she wasn’t able to fully show what she is truly capable of 🦄

Very sad sale of much loved family pony due to no current jockey. Clover is a 14.2, 16yr old bay mare. She has competed mainly in dressage in her current home, but has show jumped, hunted and gone cross country in previous homes. She is fantastic to hack both with and without company; she is not bothered by any types of traffic - including large farm vehicles - and isn’t strong or silly on tracks or in open spaces. Good to clip, shoe, load etc. she does have some general ‘wear and tear’ given her age, and would therefore not be suited to a competitive home - but she is currently sound and happy without veterinary intervention and has plenty of life left in her! Had a great day competing my favourite chestnut mare today at La Haie Fleurie Stables - despite her lack of arena experience coming through at times, Geri danced her way to a win with 71.48% in N37A under a list 1 judge. Can’t wait to see what she can achieve with some more education in the whiteboards! Thank you to her owner Hilary Arthur for letting me take her, despite the weather spoiling your plans for a weekend away! 🦄🥇

Gorgeous Goggles dancing his way to 2 wins in the novice classes at La Haie Fleurie Stables first ever British Dressage competition 🥳 He stormed his way through test 23 to gain a whopping 74.38% - we had a couple of costly mistakes in test 39, but still came away with just shy of 68%. Thank you to his owner Emilie Francesca for trusting me take him today, and to Deb Bates for retaking her place as top groom 🦄 #lovemyjob

Had a great time competing Geri’ at Jersey Riding Club yesterday - she danced her way to just over 79% to win her novice class 🏆 Thank you to her owner Hilary Arthur for letting me steal her for a test!

Great to have training with Roland Tong Dressage over the weekend on the lovely Goggles - he is definitely the tallest horse I currently ride! Thank you to his owner Emilie Francesca for trusting me to ride him in the week while she is busy running her classroom 🦄
