Dr. Soydan and Autumn had another visit with this cutie, Fran at Isthmus Veterinary Care. 🐶 You may remember Fran from one of our previous posts, and we are happy to report she is still rocking her cold weather gear ❄️⛄️
Dr. Soydan performed a recheck echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) on Fran, and we are happy to report her condition is stable! Therefore, no changes to her medications were needed at this time, and we are thrilled to give her such positive news leading into the New Year! 🐾❤️🎉
Meet the Klee Kai sisters, Aquila and Alula. 🐶❤️
Dr. Soydan and Autumn visited All Pets Veterinary Clinic to perform an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) on Aquila. They saw her as a puppy and now she is all grown up, full of Klee Kai sass. 🥰
While there, Alula needed an echocardiogram as well. Both of these sweet pups have Mitral Valve Dysplasia, a condition they were born with. Thankfully, it's not causing an issue for either of them at this time, but their conditions will be monitored closely.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to participate in the care of these beautiful sisters! 🐾
From our family here at MOVES, we are wishing all of you a wonderful Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year! ❤️
We are thankful for all of our partners and appreciate the incredible support from each one of you. Looking forward to an exciting new year together! ✨
Allow us to introduce this sleepy cutie, Boris. 🐾😽
After noticing an arrhythmia (or abnormal heartbeat) on his physical exam, the Cat Care Clinic West reached out to Dr. Soydan and Autumn for an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart).
This is a perfect example of how Fear Free practices (did we mention Dr. Soydan and Autumn are both Certified Fear Free Professionals?) can make a trip to the vet less stressful. Boris was sleeping the entire time and cuddled with his squirrel toy for comfort. We appreciate having the opportunity to participate in his care! 💜
Please allow us to introduce Fergus, a Scottish Deerhound, and the most gentle of giants. 🐶🐾
After hearing a heart murmur on his physical exam, Country View Veterinary Service Service reached out to Dr. Lydia Soydan (a Board Certified Cardiologist) for an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart).
We are happy to report that his echocardiogram was normal, and Fergus was a perfect patient for his imaging. Thank you for allowing MOVES the opportunity to participate in the care of your patients. 🥰
From all of us at MOVES, we want to thank you for your support and partnership in helping our communities. We appreciate each and every one of you! 🧡
We wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with gratitude, love and laughter! 🍁🦃
Allow us to introduce this cutie, Miss Charlotte. 🐾💜🐶🥰
Hallett Veterinary Hospital reached out to Dr. Soydan and Autumn for an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) to be completed. Miss Charlotte was such a good girl and was able to stay warm with her fuzzy sweater. She loved snacking on some yummy liver treats!
**We appreciate everyone's interest in the position. Due to the overwhelming response we received in less than twenty-four hours, we have closed the requisition to new candidates. We are currently evaluating candidates and will work as quickly as possible to respond applicants. If for any reason we decide to reopen the position, we will certainly keep everyone posted.**

Team Wisconsin visited Geneva Lakes Animal Hospital to perform an echocardiogram on Coco. This non-invasive tool was used to ensure that Coco is a good candidate for an upcoming anesthetic procedure.
While heart disease may complicate anesthesia, the presence of heart disease does not prevent a procedure from being performed. Using the information gained from an echocardiogram, modifications to the anesthetic protocol can be made to minimize any risks to Coco. 🐾🐶💜
We love getting to meet siblings, and Dr. Soydan and Autumn met these two handsome brothers at Mt. Horeb Animal Hospital. Both boys were screened for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, which is a common condition encountered in Maine C***s.
Thor Bear's (cuddled on the floor) echocardiogram revealed mild changes to his heart, and Loki's (on the couch) echocardiogram appears to have very early signs of HCM. Fortunately, no medications are necessary at this time, but we'll look forward to seeing them again in a few months to monitor their progress. 🐾😻💜
Looking for a completely remote position in the veterinary field? Look no further! 🐾🩺

Dr. Soydan and Autumn visited Oconomowoc Animal Hospital to perform an echocardiogram on Sasha. This sweetheart was a little anxious for her imaging, so Team Wisconsin implemented their Fear Free handling techniques, including the use of a pheromone infused towel (a safe and common technique used in calming nervous patients for their exams). 🐾❤️🎉
We appreciate having the opportunity to participate in her care!
Allow us to introduce this cutie, Alma. 🐾
After hearing a new soft heart murmur and lab work revealed a slightly elevated proBNP, Spring Harbor Animal Hospital reached out to Dr. Soydan and Autumn for an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart). Her ECHO revealed very early stages of heart disease, but we're happy to report no treatment is needed at this time.🐾❤️

MOVES wouldn't be the company we are today without our amazing Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians.
They are instrumental in our ability to provide a positive patient experience, supporting our phenomenal partner hospitals, and assisting our talented specialists. Going above and beyond each day, we are grateful for their hard work, dedication, and devotion. Focused on making a difference, we hope they know just how much of a difference they make here at MOVES. ❤️🐾🩺🎉🥰🐶😽
Meet Charlie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who couldn't have been a more perfect patient for his testing! 🐶
Dr. Soydan and Autumn performed an ECG and Echocardiogram to investigate an arrhythmia and soft heart murmur. They discovered poor Charlie has mild myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) (an acquired heart condition that frequently develops in this breed), but no concerning arrhythmias were observed on our BeeCardia during his work-up.
Team Wisconsin plans to keep an eye on Charlie's condition in the future, but no therapies or lifestyle changes are needed just yet! 🎉💙
Happy Veterinary Technician Week ❤️🐾🎉
Thank you for all you do each day for MOVES, our partner clinics, and their patients! We couldn't do this without you!
Being a California girl in the Midwest is no fun for Little Miss Calley! ❤️🐾🐶🏝
Dr. Soydan and Autumn saw this cutie at Elmbrook Veterinary Clinic, where she was all snuggled up in her blanket and dreaming of warmer weather. ☀️
Allow us to introduce this angelic cutie, Madison. 💜🐾🐶
During a recent exam, Dr. Regalado detected a new heart murmur and wanted to investigate further. Dr. Soydan and Autumn paid Madison a visit at Truesdell Animal Care Hospital & Clinic to perform an echocardiogram.
Madison was ultimately diagnosed with Degenerative Valve Disease. Degenerative Valve Disease (DVD) is a condition where the valves within the heart thicken overtime. A normal aging process, they become irregular and no longer close properly with each contraction. Overtime, the ability of the heart to pump becomes impacted and the heart has to work harder. In severe cases, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) can develop. Thankfully, if caught early, most patients can be managed with medications for many months to even years!
We are happy to report the changes to Madison's heart are very mild at this time, and no medications are necessary! ❤️🎉
🚨 NEW PARTNER ALERT! 🚨
Dr. Soydan & Autumn were invited into the Animal Hospital of Sun Prairie for the first time recently and the team was so welcoming! Not to mention, they got to meet this handsome pup, Cooper! 🐶💜🐾
Dr. Midthun heard a new heart murmur on Cooper's recent puppy exam, and an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) was performed to further investigate. We are happy to report Dr. Soydan found his heart murmur to be benign (non-problematic), but just to be safe, does plan to recheck his heart as he gets a bit older.
We look forward to seeing this cutie again, and can't wait to see what new tricks he learned. He has already mastered the art of sitting and lying down 🙌🎉
Thank you for inviting MOVES into your hospital, and for giving Dr. Soydan the opportunity to participate in the care of your patients! We look forward to collaborating again in the near future!
Dr. Soydan and Autumn visited Whole Pet Veterinary Clinic to perform an echocardiogram on Ryder. Ryder was recently seen for a mass removal, and during surgery Dr. Hellestad noticed he was having an arrhythmia (or abnormal heart beat).
Specifically, Ryder's heart was suffering from VPCs (or Ventricular Premature Contractions). VPCs indicate the ventricle (lower chamber of the heart) is beating asynchronously and this can impact the ability of the heart to pump blood effectively.
VPCs were still noted during Ryder's echocardiogram, so a Holter Monitor was placed. This monitor is worn for twenty-four hours and records his heart rate and rhythm during that time. This information will help determine the seriousness of his VPCs and whether or not medications are required. We appreciate having the opportunity to participate in his care! ❤️🐾
DOUBLE TROUBLE!
Allow us to introduce these cute siblings, Bandit and Smokey. 🐾😽
After hearing a heart murmur on their physical exams, Hallett Veterinary Hospital reached out to Dr. Soydan and Autumn for an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) to be completed prior to their neuter surgeries.
We're happy to report that both Bandit and Smokey’s echos came back normal and they are cleared for surgery!
A huge thank you to the team at Hallett Veterinary Hospital for allowing us the opportunity to participate in the care of your patients. We appreciate you! 🐾❤️
The purrrfect siblings 🐾😽
Dr. Soydan performed an echocardiogram on Archer and Malcom for concerns surrounding their hearts. We're happy to report both boys' results came back normal!
Thank you, Country View Veterinary Services (Oregon), for allowing us the opportunity to participate in Archer and Malcom's care!
Dr. Soydan and Autumn visited Sandhill Pet Clinic to perform an echocardiogram on this sweet pibble, Emmett, to investigate a heart murmur Dr. Berg identified. Using the information gained from his ECHO, Dr. Soydan is happy to report Emmett's heart murmur is benign and will likely not cause an issue for him in the future. ❤️🐾
Emmett got to celebrate his good news with some yummy liver treats! 😋🎉
