My very first airlayer project was a success 🌳 we will have 5 new Mulberry trees fruiting for Xmas next year!
And one saved for a gift for a very special old friend who remembers living behind our house eating the mulberry's hanging over our back fence when she was a lil girl during the 70s ❤

Our pollinators are working hard bringing the beautiful buzzy bees in! Our Kent pumpkins & sugar baby watermelons have their first male flowers & the boys got to harvest the first of our not so 'cherry' tomatoes.
Little bit in love in with my massive purple Gladiolus and the colour of the beautiful French Marigolds 😍
Serious seed saving mode with our dill, coriander, parsley, poppies & delphiniums- next spring the garden will be exploding with colour and yummy herbs!

In so excited to share our micro-homesteading journey with everyone 🐣 our veggie garden is growing and we've got chooks chooks back in the coop 🐓 Our 2023 goal is to be as self sufficient as possible on our little 900m2 country town block- its sure to be hilarious adventure 🤣
Stay tuned for our next garden project- turning an old rusty combi van into both a garden feature and a coop for our fluffy butts 🐔
