Aside from their bark, dogs communicate through body language and facial expressions!

🐾 Yawning - this doesn't always mean they are tired... it can mean they are stressed.

🐾 Licking their lips - not always after a meal! This can mean your dog is anxious.

🐾 Bearing their teeth (even if it looks like a smile) can actually mean they are 'showing their weapons'!

I will be sharing lots more on understanding your doggie! So stay tuned. 💜

TRAINING TIP TUESDAY! 👏

Did you know that reward-based training is the most effective? 👀⬇️

This type of training involves praising and treating your dog when they do a behaviour you like.

So, rather than punish them when they do wrong, use positive reinforcement for when they do something right! 👏🏻

This way, your dog will want to do more of the right things to get your praise!🙋🏻‍♀️

Not only is this type of training fun, it also helps to create a positive bond between you and your pooch! 🐾 💜

I do a lot of Reiki on my horse Ben. 🐴

He LOVES it and I've seen a huge difference in his energy. 💫

After a Reiki session, Ben is much more relaxed and takes on a whole new lease of life! 👏🏻

The Reiki rejuevenates his body, mind and spirit...shining the light within him. 🌟

Ben has an injury in his left back leg and after each Reiki session, I have seen significant improvements with his recovery. 👏🏻

The horse in the photo is a lovely boy called Tinker, he was having a lot of trouble with his back, but after just a couple of treatments, we started to see fabulous results.

It's so amazing to be a part of these beautiful animal's healing journeys and to help them! 🦄🙏🙌
