We need at least 500 photos and articles. Please see the topics below & help contribute! We will give photo or article credit as appropriate. Attached is a "release of copyright form" for any photos or articles you submit. If you have older historical photos to submit please list exactly where you found the photo. Most of the Bulldogs we will use in this edition will be older accomplished or past dogs. You are welcome to submit any dog. It maybe that your dog is not used in this addition but possible in the next edition once he or she has had time to effect the breed's future . Email: [email protected]
Examples of dogs that maybe used in this edition of the Book:
* Historical: We need historical and up to date bulldog photos. Photos of rare and standard color bulldogs dating back to the 1800s to our day. These photos can be in color or black and white. Examples of we are looking for:
(few examples) The first Champion Bulldog in the 1860s "Champion King Dick". In the1800's a blue bulldog "Frank" bred by Mr. Healey in Nottingham in the year of 1853. "Frank" (blue colored) won an almost unheard of amount of shows in London. Frank was sold to Mr. Tupper for 100 lbs "UK". An outrageous unheard of price in those days.
More recent historical examples of standard and rare color foundation bulldogs who positively influence set a path way for betterment of the breed for the following generations. A few show examples of dogs that maybe considered:
CH King Dick 1860s, CH Roseville Blaze 1870s, World CH Merriveen Make My Day 1997, World CH Captain Hudson, INT CH Boss etc , "Multi CH Marinebull's All The Way".
Few rare color examples:

* Famous Bulldog mascots (examples): Uga
* Historical and recent WORLD SHOW WINNING Bulldogs (FCI) dated back to 1971.
History of rare & standard colors. including "dog shows".

*Breed standard- will be reviewed, including (AKC, KC & FCI)

* Memorabilia. Also looking for old photos of historical bulldog memorabilia. Some current will be excepted.

The book will be covering all Bulldog health topics, including, common & uncommon health problems. (these are just a few examples, submit a health article or idea you feel should be included)
*Whelping,
Breeding & breeding topics. Picking the right dogs. Bulldog stud service etc.

NOTE: We are NOT editing or making final cuts until we have enough data and photos organized. We won't be making final choices for a few months,so don't be alarmed if you do not hear back from us right away. Once we have collected what we need we will start to edit..
Note: Most of the Bulldogs we will use in this edition will be older accomplished or past dogs. We will however use a few newer generation bulldogs as well as puppies as needed in chapters such as "health" etc. You are welcome to submit any dog. It maybe that your dog is not used in this addition but possible in the next edition once he or she has had time to effect the breed's future .
