Please spread the word for this lost cat. Neil was LOST on November 7, 2024 in Glace Bay, NS B1A near Alexander, McDonald's Lane, Main Street,
Message from Owner: He is new to our family and doesn't respond to his name yet. I was calling him baby. He's easily startled, approach slowly, quietly, sitting with food and treats was how I got him close to be able to pick him up and take him inside. If you leave his side, he will hide under the bed couch, chair and you will have to coax him out with food. Once he trusts, he stops hiding. But when we took him outside on his harness he got really scared and slipped out of a kitten harness he's very slender. He ran. He will need to be kept indoors. Outdoors reminds him of being homeless. We had not had a chance to put a collar on him yet.He seemed to not recognize how to use a litter box either. Was living outside. He loves to eat. Will sip water. And he is very cuddly, gentle, and wants to sleep by your side. We are so worried because the weather is getting very cold. We have food on our front and back steps and a shelter on the front step with bedding that he slept on and has his scent. We just want to get him back so he can be checked by the vet, get his vaccinations and get neutered. We have a feeling he may be a bit constipated we are not sure what he had been eating prior to us finding him. He looks to be about 1 year old. Please help us find out new baby. His new big brother is pacing missing him and we are out all hours of the night in weather trying to find him. Thank you for your help.
Description: Neil was just rescued by us. Hesxa medium length tuxedo long slender boy a white belly and paws his black coat is very shiny. He was very hungry cold and scared when we took him in and it took him several days to trust. He hasn't left our sides and slept in bed with us for two days just eating and sleeping he was exhausted. He is afraid of outside he wiggled out of his harness and ran up Alexander, crossed over to the top of McDonald's lane across main street in the area near the old curries funeral , he was running through backyards when I lost track of him. If you sit quietly with food he will approach to eat but is very easily startled. He had been living outside and wants to be in where it's warm. Very cuddly once he trusts you and likes to sleep beside you in bed. There's a white area around his nose that makes an "M" design. We want to get him back we have fallen in love with him. Our address is 161 Alexander Street Glace Bay. Cell:/. Call anytime day or night if you see him. If you can get him in the hse please keep him inside and we will come get him.

💬 "Neil has a neighbor on this street feeding him twice a day but is still quite scared. I have a shelter out for him and another neighbor has a live trap that we are going to set on the weekend. Once we get him we will have him neutered and looked after by the vet for any issues. We at least know where he is we just have to regain his trust and get him to safety from the cold outdoors. Thanks to all who have been reaching out and offering help we really appreciate it!"
