Coco normally gets shoved in the sink. She tolerates it! We use aromatherapy shampoo and I put a shower mat (cut to size), in the bottom, to stop her sliding about. She'd still rather not though.

Like many dogs who've used the buttons for a while, they find creative ways of telling you what they want.
I use the dog's instincts to introduce the new, missing words.
I always create a list of words I think she'd like; read through them then wait for Coco to react positively.
Some days she'll ask for more than one word. Then she might show no interest in a new word for several days. I always go at her pace.

Coco has weepy eyes. The best way to keep it under control is to wipe it gently with a damp tissue or baby wipe.
She's used to it, and had started shoving her face in my face (hoping I'd notice it needed doing maybe). We do this 2-4 times a day.
Sometimes she has floaters or hairs in her eye too. I just deal with it. She's a good girl and knows I'm helping.

We added an EYES button a couple of weeks ago. She has a HELP button too (which she occasionally uses). Tonight was the first night she used the EYE button.

Coco kept scratching at the box which holds her new talking buttons. I had no idea why.
I walked over and asked her if she wanted a new button. She excitedly wagged her tail even though we'd already added one today (DOG).
I suggested a few words (I had already printed out some new word stickers ready). She seemed uninterested.
Then I asked her, "would you like a YES button?" She bounced and wagged her tail. She seemed excited.
I recorded the new word immediately and put it in place. Time to demonstrate so I pressed it a few times.
Then I asked a question. "Would you like a treat?"
Coco ran right over to the buttons and confidently pressed, YES TREAT!
I was so surprised I laughed loudly! So proud of my little girl ... 😍
