Little Fia has certainly settled in well at home. Her adoptive mum, Yael, has been wonderful.
Chippy was keen to meet his little sister - and vice versa!

Does it get any better than this !?!
Only home at lunch time today and Fia is already looking (and feeling) great!
What a lovely, attentive adoptive mum! Thank you again to the team at WestVETS Animal Hospital for looking after our lovely Libby, caring for Fia and providing her new adoptive mum Yael.
We can't thank Remi Stud enough - Cheryl has been amazing and now has Yael and Fia home to keep an eye on them and make sure everything goes as it should.
Little Fia - with her mum's heart and temperament and her dad's beautiful presence and talent. At just 4 weeks, she's already showing a lot of promise.

What a wonderful sight!
Fia has been a trouper, spending 5 days since she lost her beautiful mum, first being fed through a tube, then learning to drink from a bucket and finally, taking to her new adoptive mum!
So many thanks to Margaux Markwell, the other vets and nurses and the WestVETS Animal Hospital adoption team for their hard work looking after Fia.
Thank you to everyone who offered to help, particularly those who were suffering from their own loss - thank you for your generosity and kindness.
Fingers crossed that Fia and her adoptive mum can go home soon and she will continue to grow and thrive.

Today at 5:07pm we lost to colic and had to say goodbye to our lovely Libby. While she wasn’t the most conventional and didn’t bring home all the ribbons, she made me work hard and despite being difficult to learn how to ride, she was the horse that made me fall in love with this sport. She always tried so hard and gave everything her all. Thankfully, we have two beautiful foals from Lib – Fia (chestnut filly) and Chippy (bay/grey c**t).

Thank you so much to Cheryl O’Brien for her quick response and taking her and Fia to the vet for us and for making her last moments more bearable.

We know she will be up there, galloping around on the cross country courses where the time is as fast as she can go. We will miss you, beautiful girl. Fly high Lib 🕊️🤍

Welcoming this lovely little lady into the world Four Winds Vintage Fiano aka Fia/Fi Fi. Thank you so much to Remi Stud and Cheryl for delivering her safely, when she was a few weeks early.
With the beautiful Remi Vigneron as her sire and the loveliest dam by successful racing stallion Falvelon, this little girl has an exciting eventing future in store!

Meet the FWE horses

Hillco Geostorm (Geo) is a stunning Hanoverian gelding who has just turned two.

He is by the German show jumping stallion Grey Top and was awarded HHSA Gold Foal at the 2021 classifications. He is an exciting prospect for the future and we are hoping he will make a fabulous eventer. Very excited for the future of this boy!

Conqueror FWE (Chippy) is the newest member to the team who came into the world on the 30th of September this year.

He is by the Finch Farm stallion Charlemagne Ego Z, out of our mare Audacia. We are very excited to watch this little man grow and hopefully become a lovely eventer!

Imperial Gwyneth (Gwynnie) is a 26 year old Welsh x Riding Pony mare who despite her age is still going strong under saddle and is currently on lease doing her job teaching kids how to ride.

Meet the FWE horses

Audacia (Libby) is a 10 year old OTT mare sired by the highly regarded racing stallion Falvelon.

We have had Lib for 3 years and in that time she has competed EVA 95, show jumped 1m and done novice dressage.

She is now learning the ways of motherhood and we are very excited for what the future holds for her.

Falvelon won almost $4 million and went on to sire 412 winners. Libby's dam sire, Geiger Counter's progeny have won over $24 million. Libby only completed one barrier trial, but has inherited the heart and temperament of her famous sire.

Welcome to the world to our first gorgeous foal!

Conqueror FWE (Chippy) is a beautiful little bay with white showing around his eyes and nose suggesting he will end up grey.

He is by the beautiful Charlemagne Ego Z and out of our own TB mare Audacia. We are looking forward to watching him grow and hopefully become a strong eventer.

We are ever so grateful to Remi Stud - Cheryl (and team!) for turning things around when Libby wasn't following the birth plan. He's a feisty little character already!
