Few things in life are as wonderful 🥰 as having you're furry family show you their love. ❤️ It's not when you try to grab them and try to cuddle them. It's when they come to you snuggle against you , sit with you as close as possible and just be there all lovingly and beautiful. Believe it or not even purrs when she's expressing her contentment 😂

Today was bathing day & it sure is exhausting for mum to give is both shampoo, conditions teethy brush & blow-drying afterwards. But we get yummy treats & lots of cuddles afterwards which is the best part 😍

Opal has been through a rough weekend recovering from surgery to remove her a**l glands.
Being so tiny she was experiencing more & more pain with having them expressed. And her little glands just weren't getting rid of their fluid without assistance. This can be a genetic mechanical problem for toy small sized dogs which is what sadly was the case for Opal.
Her first day home from surgery on Friday she was groggy, wobbly & clearly upset with feeling off from all the meds but she still managed to eat a little home made roo mix.
Day 2 she was still unsteady but more alert & got her full appetite back & wanting tickles.
Day 3 she was more alert but the heat outside was affecting her and the pain patch meds had caused her to become constipated which made for a distressing night. So next morning Day 4 we called in at the Vet who had to give her laxative and removed the pain patch of course. They gave us a topical anaesthetic gel to use instead of the pain patch.
Therafter & Day 5 she gradually became more steady & happy but also more sensitive trying to lick herself & scoot. Today Day 6 she's been amazing back to her personality & begging to go outside for walkies & generally more relaxed.
