We look forward to the next DogFest event sponsored by ManyPets UK - Formerly Bought By Many at Loseley Park on the 7th and 8th May. It was great to have Noel Fitzpatrick and Michaela Strachan in recent years and we look forward to having other dog lovers lead us on the walk this year!

We are looking forward to the Big Dog Walk specifically and their unwavering support of the Dogs Trust.

At The Barkley Club we love little dogs! They make great companions, are portable, make less mess, are easier to transport and most importantly their costumes are cute!

These are just some of the many reasons why we are delighted that following success of "Daxy Day", we are launching an exclusive five star half day service aimed at only toy dogs.

French bulldogs, shih-poos, chihuahuas, dachshunds and many many more toy / lap varieties can all play together in half a half day experience with free pick up and drop off, exercise, socialisation and a small van with carers with lots of love to give!

Due to client demand, we are now taking bookings for a brand new half-day exercise and socialisation session for dogs in the Godalming area.

These will be available in two sessions each Monday and Friday. Times are 0930 - 1230 or 1400 - 1700 hours and include pick up and drop off.

* Safety and security are paramount - we do not have signwriting on our transport for dog and client safety
* Carbon neutral electric vans collect your fur family
* Dog experiences are tailored to your dogs requirements including how they travel - crate, harness or booster seat
* All our staff are canine first aid trained and we operate under £multi-million insurance policies for animals under our care

I thought we should share what things are incredibly important to us:
• dog and client safety and security ahead of marketing and advertising (we will never have signwriting on our pet transport!)
• a truly tailored 5 * service that looks after each dog exactly as their owners would including travel, feeding, exercise and stimulation
• offering young people opportunities, employment, experience and training
• being carbon neutral (electric vans charge from our solar panels)
• supporting and raising funds for local worthwhile relevant animal and disability/youth charities
• therapy dogs and fixing broken humans!

Dog Walking.

The Barkley Club is expanding its dog walking services in Milford, Godalming and Haslemere.

If you believe in a safety first, well insured and very experienced pair of hands offering your pet the exercise, enrichment, continued training, play and hands on fun it needs without the distraction of other dogs, we have the answer.

For client and dog safety, we won’t use a sign written vehicles (we are happy to forsake profit for the sake of marketing and advertising), we won’t park in remote locations (leaving walker, dogs and valuables like your house keys at risk) and if required, we will use our solar panel charged electric vehicles to ensure the lowest carbon footprint possible.

All of our professional walkers are canine first aid and CPR trained, are insured personally and publicly and DBS checked.

People’s circumstances will always change, but it’s no reason to give up an animal. This news is truly saddening, disappointing and possibly so shortsighted by so many.

The Dogs Trust says it has seen a 35% increase in calls related to giving up dogs in recent weeks.
