One of our go-to spring hikes is Middlebrun Bay at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. The hike is 4.6 km round trip and the big and beautiful sand beach is a perfect picnic spot. We love meandering and exploring the beach with our girl Sitka. 🌊🌲
Oxtongue River-Ragged Falls Provincial Park. A short hike led us to a beautiful view overlooking Ragged Falls and river views! If you find yourself in the Huntsville area, it’s definitely worth the visit! 🌲🐕

Arrowhead is a lovely winter wonderland and a great place to explore with the dogs! We checked out Big Bend, Stubb’s Falls Trail, and the Hardwood Ridge Trail. We also went to their awesome visitor centre which was pet-friendly! ❄️🌲

Hardy Lake Provincial Park in Muskoka is a gorgeous little park with great trails! The pups loved exploring the hemlock forests and snowy landscapes. ❄️🌲
Wherever there is Sitka, there is a stick. Or many sticks. Her nickname is Sticka and always will be. Her and sticks are like peanut butter and jam. Except when there’s peanut butter…then peanut butter always wins. 🪵🥜

Pukaskwa National Park is a true gem in northwestern Ontario. 🌲🌊 The wild shores and endless forests are breathtaking! Here’s are few ways we tread lightly when visiting these special protected spaces:
🌲 Pick up dog p**p + pack it out. Always.
🌲 Pack out our garbage.
🌲 Put out our fires completely.
🌲 Leave nature as we find it. And take all the photos!
🌲 Store our food properly in bear-safe containers.
