We’re ARBA registered, home based, small scale, hobby pet rabbitry, located in Pickering. Currently we’re only focusing on hypoallergenic Mini Rex rabbits (dwarf rabbits). Adult bunnies are semi-free roaming in our house and kits (baby rabbits) are socialized daily from a young age so that they get used to being around children and pets (dog). We treat our bunnies as PETS and provide them with loving care and nutritious foods. Our bunnies are happy and healthy and they can attest to that by binkying a lot. Also, we do not stock breed out Does and therefore only a very limited number of kits is available per year.
Mini Rex Personality: Calm, sociable, curious, playful, sweet disposition, very even temperament
Size: 3-4.5 lbs
Hypoallergenic: Yes but also please research this on your own
Lifespan: 7-10 years
Shedding: An average shedder which can be easily maintained by occasional brushing with wet hands
Diet: Hay, high-fiber pellets, greens, occasional rabbit treats
And here is the serious stuff:
1. Our bunnies are sold as FAMILY PETS ONLY - not for breeding and definitely not for food!
2. You are agreeing to treat your pet bunny well and keep it healthy and to follow guidelines provided to you in regards to food, accommodation and treatment – extensive list of ‘DOs and DON’Ts and other tips will be provided to you some time after your reservation goes through.
3. At this time, we do not offer rabbit shipping or delivery outside of the GTA. There is a fee for deliveries within the GTA and advance arrangements must be made.
4. We check rabbits for overall health on the day of sale and under NO circumstances will we sell a rabbit that appears to be sick or has any health issues. The rabbits are healthy to the best of our knowledge when they leave here. We will not be held responsible if the rabbit becomes sick or dies once it leaves our care due to the fact that we are not able to control its new environment, stress levels and exposure to inappropriate foods outside of our Rabbitry. Once rabbit leaves our house, there are NO REFUNDS or replacements.
5. Rabbits are sexed before leaving so you know if you have a buck or a doe (boy or girl) BUT ‘things’ are not very obvious with young rabbits and mistakes can happen.
6. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY SALE AT OUR DISCRETION. A full refund will be provided in the original form of payment if we decide to cancel sale.
7. We are available via email to answer all your rabbit care related questions. We check emails daily and do our best to respond promptly. For emergencies please contact your vet.
8. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price is required to hold the rabbit(s) of your choice. Deposit must be received within 24 Hours of reservation. THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. If the rabbit unexpectedly gets sick or dies while in our care, either a full refund will be made, or the deposit will be applied to another available rabbit, whichever you prefer. The remaining balance is due in CASH ON PICKUP or eTRANSFER BEFORE pickup so that it clears before we meet. Your adoption will not be completed until the full amount is paid.
9. Rabbits not picked up within 7 days from their ready date will go back on the sales page and you’ll forfeit your deposit unless we have another written agreement.
10. For bio-security reasons, we are a Closed Rabbitry. Adoption will be completed at public place in Pickering to be divulged at a later time.
