Friendly Hills Farm (FHF)is a organic, bio-intensive farm in Whittier, California. This leads to healthier crops and a healthier community.

We are practicing a non-GMO and no pesticide approach in a residential area just under a quarter acre of land. Allowing operations to be done manually without gas-powered tools/machines and by not tilling and not using a tractor they are able to focus on their goal of continually rehabilitating the soil. Excess and imperfect produce is repurposed through food-crafting and used at a local food bank.

Had a few harvests with this dill but it bolted pretty quickly. Now it’s flowering and I’ll be collecting seed soon :)

Carrots carrots carrots…one of the holy trinity of cooking veggeis. These sweet and crisp root vegetables are more diverse then we give them credit for. Used in our drinks, our soups, our salads, our desserts and let’s not forget its a form of medicine. 🧑🏼‍🌾👩🏼‍⚕️👩🏼‍🍳
