🚨 Honest ad alert 🚨

Snaps Dee Lite 2011 AQHA gelding

Cash stands 15.3hh and is a stout made gelding. He is gentle and in your pocket type during anything that doesn’t involve work, you add the work factor in and he can get a little quirky.

The good:
Cash will saddle fine and ride off with little to no issues some days. He has a decent handle and will ride around like a broke horse on his good days. He will collect and move off of your leg, has the basics of a solid turn around, and will stop and back up when asked. We’ve worked on his ground tying skills, they could still use perfecting, but he has the idea. He stands well for the farrier, loads and unloads great. My clients purchased him as a ranch horse, we haven’t roped anything off of him, but he isn’t bothered by cattle. He is great turned out with others, mares or geldings. Isn’t one to run another off of feed, but will try to share and be buddies with everyone. He had his teeth done late last year. He rides in the arena good, decent outside, but can get a touch prancy if in the back of a group. We keep him shod on all 4 if we are riding him in the rocks consistently, he will get a touch sore footed on rock in his front feet without them. He’s a big stout made gelding, he’s the size to handle taking a big jerk out in the pasture, or make a great head horse.

The bad:
Cash does have his off days. He isn’t a man killer, but he will buck. When he is having a bad day it typically shows before you climb aboard, he has his ways of showing it and will give you a heads up before he blows up. He will sometimes get it out of his system when you lunge him, but it isn’t a full proof way to avoid it. He does better if you get him to trust you some, but also isn’t one you can get by being his bestie and calling him handsome, I’ve tried it, he’s just not the type. He has also cow kicked in the past, but it isn’t one of his favorite moves luckily. He got my boyfriend once the first day we ever used him, and tried to get me once while stepping on him. He gave me more of a warning before trying to get me, I was able to avoid it and correct him and he hasn’t attempted it since. He will pace for days if he isn’t in penned with another horse. He will settle after a couple of days, but will still pace some occasionally here and there.

With all of this being said, I don’t think this gelding is a TOTAL loss. I do think someone could get something done on him and have a horse who hasn’t been used very hard and still has TONS of potential. He does want to ride around, but he also just seems to get frustrated occasionally and his go to move is to buck still. I think if someone really hammered on him and used him for a couple of weeks he would come out of it just fine and make a horse. I don’t have that kind of work for him, my clients want him moved, and I’m out of options at this point.

5yr old grade dunn gelding 14.3/15hh

Sent to the trainer as a 2yr old, turned out after that. In your pocket type, very easy to catch, stands tied, loads, and leads. Has been saddled, hasn’t been rode.

Very cute, well put together gelding. I don’t think it will take much to get him started and going.
We have too many and he’s gonna sit a couple more months before we have the time to start him.

Grade 3 yr old filly 14/14.1hh
She has had about 30 rides. Starting to get more consistent and with a little more riding would be ready for a job soon. She’s tracked the dummy a couple of times and wants to be cowy.

She loads and rides in the trailer quiet, isn’t mareish, stands tied, and is fine stuffed in with others. She is an easy keeper, hasn’t had any maintenance or needed any. She is barefoot and sound.

Blister is best described as what one would call a wise guy, with that being said this gelding is 20-22yrs old. He stands 15.2hh and is built just as stout to boot. He is a gorgeous palomino with darker points throughout.

Blister has been used extensively on the ranch, but is looking for a softer place to land and live out the rest of his golden days. Blister would make a fantastic trail horse and even a possible play day horse. He would be great for someone who still wants to go out and check fences and help gather, but not a day to day doctoring operation. Rides great in a group or out alone. Neckreins, has a good stop, and still has a motor for being an older gentleman.
Can be a little talkative if hauled alone but nothing silly. Loads and unloads great, he will stand tied all day long, stands great for a bath and the farrier. Currently barefoot, but will be shod when my farrier gets back in town, it isn’t needed just my personal preference.

Blister has been turned out with broodmares most of his life and is low man on the totem pole, regardless of who he is turned out with. He means no harm and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body.

You really don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to own this gelding, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it truly is getting hard to find ones this BROKE and GENTLE. I’ve really taken my time to get to know this gelding before posting him and I will be extremely sad to see him go. He has very easily became one of the favorite horses I’ve ever had the opportunity to offer to the public.

Dolly is a 15 year old halflinger mare. She’s about 13.3/14hh and is truly the sweetest gal in the barn. It doesn’t matter if she’s turned out with others or in the barn, she’s always the first to pop her head over the gate and say hello. She’s great in a stall or turned out with others and is easy to catch.

Dolly has spent most of her life raising little ones. She suits a beginner very well, but still has a few fancy buttons to keep someone more advanced entertained. She has seen cows, had ropes swung off of her, worked gates and used in the pens, and has seen a few nights out on the town.

Dolly has been there and done that and experienced most of everything life has to offer, but still has plenty of life left in her to raise a few more little ones. This mare is a true saint, but I don’t plan to have little ones anytime soon so she doesn’t fit my program very well.

Rita is a 10 year old grade black mare. Rita is a sweet girl who loves attention and loves to be involved! She is a great trail horse to pull out and put anyone on!

Rita is the first horse to greet you if she’s turned out in the pasture with friends or in the barn! Easy to catch. She gets along with anyone and everything. Bomb proof, easy to handle, pull and kick a direction and off you go!

This mare has strong bare feet. Teeth recently floated, and UTD on everything. Easy keeper, stands tied. Good for the farrier, loves getting groomed and will load up and out of anything as long as she gets to go!!

This mare is a TRAIL HORSE. She will not make a rope horse or a barrel horse. She doesn’t want to be one. She wants to go slow and enjoy her day, and be pet and told how pretty she is.
