Pigment dots on the anterior lens capsule, referred to by some as persistent pupillary membrane (PPM) because of its origin (a remnant of the tunica vasculosa lentis/pupillary membrane).
In humans, similar lesions are sometimes described as epicapsular stars or chicken tracks.
