"I'm so very proud of this sculpture and l'll never shy away from placing it outside of the gallery, at this time of the year, while I still have the strength to do so. I feel incredibly moved by the reaction it always gets each year from passers by in the street to people coming into the gallery to shake my hand and tell me stories of how it affects them.
It often brings people to tears when they see what it represents. Thank you to all those who feel as I do about the sacrifice not just of the men but also the animals who have no voice of there own."
