Little update on miss Mimosas!
Overall she has been doing really well. She did have some confidence issues moving forward so we backed off riding some and went back to ground work and helped her get comfortable with that. She currently has less than ten rides. She cantered for the first time this morning andbI couldn't be happier with how it went! She took off nicely when I asked and was relaxed!
When she first got here she had a noise sensitivity. When things got loud she got really unfortunate. We have been working through that and she is doing really well with that as well! Dogs barking and being crazy don't bother her, the tornado alarm and firetrucks next door don't seem to bother her anymore and she has gotten a lot better with clapping which were some of her major triggers!
If you think Mimosa is a right fit for you or you have any questions about her feel free to ask.

Mimosa had her first ride out of the round pen this morning! She protested a little in the beginning but quickly relaxed and started moving forward.

Little update on miss Mimosa!
We have been working on learning how to stop and steer from the ground which will make the process when I get on her easier for her to understand.
These are clips of her first session with this and she did extremely well! We have some moments where she was confused about what I was asking but never put up a huge fight with it.
She has been ground driven and did extremely well with it. Unfortunately my phone was out of space so I didn't get any videos of it 😅
She has been accepting the saddle really well lately and has not been getting upset with it! If she keeps progressing like this her first ride should be really soon!
She has such a great personality and I love how willing she is to please you! She is going to make someone a great partner!

Mimosa is doing so incredibly well! She still is uncomfortable when you first put the bareback pad on so we have been working a lot on her just relaxing when putting it on. She has been lunging really well with it and staying relaxed while moving through the gaits. She is starting to build more strength in her canter but still struggles with not falling out of the canter. She is now carrying a bridle with a snaffle and hasn't given me any trouble with that at all!

Miss Mimosa got to wear the bareback pad yesterday! She wasn't a huge fan of it in the beginning but after a few minutes she relaxed and worked really well!

I am just wanting to come on and rave about an incredible product!
For those who don't know him, this is Pippin. He is my 10yr old retired agility dog. Pippin has always been an extremely active dog. He loves hiking, chasing tennis balls, attempting to catch a Frisbee (he was never any good at it but we let him believe he was 😅), going on trail rides, running agility, ect. He was just constantly going.
Back in 2019, I had to retire him from agility because he would always start limping after practice. Ever since then I started to notice him slow down. He started sleeping all day. If he went to the barn he would always come home limping. He could no longer chase tennis balls or really do anything he used to enjoy. Last year he started taking carprofen regularly to help with his pain.
At Equine Affaire, I talked with 100X Equine about the Canine Joint Flex to see if they thought it would help him.
After about a week on it, I was able to stop his Carprofen and he hasn't had a pill since! He is back to his youthful self! He is able to play catch again, go on trail rides and we have even played around with the agility equipment!
I honestly cannot say enough good things about their products! Since then I have put my whole barn on their products and I even take the Joint X One for humans!
