The Heart Six Dude Ranch is located 45 minutes outside Jackson Hole,Wyoming in Moran, right outside Yellowstone National Park.

There isn’t a luxury ranch as authentic as Heart Six anywhere else in the American West, and we prove it with the richness of our heritage. Founded in the late 1800s as an illicit trapping hideout, the ranch grew into an expansive cabin proper

ty by 1914. Then-owner Charlie “Beavertooth” Neil opened up a bargain store, a dance hall and an under-the-table gambling room, parts of we’re proud to still incorporate in our halls. The land passed hands from the 1930s to ’80s before it was renovated into its current incarnation in 1984. While the quiet location was once ideal for trapping and gambling, it’s now an ideal getaway for families, couples, large groups and solo travelers. Our secluded property offers truly breathtaking views of the Buffalo Fork river snaking toward the Grand Teton mountains rising above the valley floor to an incredible 13,770 feet. In the summer we offer horseback riding, canoeing, whitewater rafting, game hunting, & fly fishing trips. In the winter we offer dogsledding, snowmobile tours, and wagons pulled by horseback! Plus an insider’s tours of Yellowstone National Park. After a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can relax with a glass of wine or a craft beer from a local brewery around a campfire and watch the spectacular views over the mountainscape.

Fun fact!

The Grand Tetons received their name from French-Canadian trappers. When they approached the range from the west, they gave the three towering mountains the name, “Trois Tetons” (“Three Breasts”)

Enjoy a nice getaway in a standalone cabin tucked away on the backside of our property. With one of the best views on property, pull up parking next to your cabin, a private attached bathroom and a porch with chairs, you and your other can relax and enjoy the sunset over the Buffalo Valley and The Grand Tetons after a long days worth of activities.

Watch 140 horses gallop right past you morning and evening, enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at our Buffalo Valley Cafe, enjoy a 2 hour horse ride through the Bridget Teton National Forest and cast your line for some fishing in the Buffalo Fork River, and finally ending your day with a view like this!

One of our cutest ranch kitties modeling one of the many hats available at our Gift Shop! Sweet Pea is one of six kittens from our pair of Maine C**n cats. She will grow to around 10-12 lbs, and her brothers could grow up to 20 lbs!
