My sister dog was missing for a while, she posted flyers everywhere in Camden nj, she even called Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center in Blackwood they told her to forward a flyer of her missing dog (Gigi) & they told her they’ll keep her updated if a dog comes in similar to her. We seen her picture on Facebook being shared around that was posted on the jersey lost & found pets not to long ago.. so we went to homeward bound in Blackwood that same day & her dog was given up for adoption 6 days before we got there.. they told us (they can’t make the person who adopted her give her back) that we will have to take legal actions even after their secretary pulled out a big book in front of us telling the manage we followed every step.. she pulled out the book filled with all dogs that were missing/that their owners reported. She went right to the page where she showed all of us the flyer of my sister missing dog (gigi) that was logged into the book.. They even pulled up the location where they found her, which was 7mins away from where gigi ran away from, she was at my sisters daughter house which was a unfamiliar place for her.. They even changed her name to milly & neutered gigi.. but still til this day my sister is trying to get her dog back all because Howard bound didn’t follow up with protocol.. Even after she called repeatedly throughout time checking if her dog was there.. I know this is a page of lost & found dogs but this is where gigi was first seen & we see you guys are all dog lovers. I know & I’m pretty sure you guys know, Once you bring a pet home (any pet) it becomes apart of your family daughter/son. This whole situation has left my Sister & her daughter my niece heart broken.. PLEASE SHARE!! Help us bring GIGI HOME!!!
