Hello everyone.. after some time settling in to a new location, it is now time to step it up and get back to what really matters..you and your dog. Let's do this!!!

The breaking news is we are now in partnership with Bendigo Pet Retreat This enables us to provide dog training services with an undercover area in a beautiful setting.

Mobile services are still available but we can now also offer group training and a fantastic training opportunity where your dog can come and board at the kennels and be extensively trained "stay and train".

** One on one sessions, the mobile service for home/location visits and "stay and train" are available now and Group classes will be starting the week of 22nd May (depending on numbers). I will still be coming up to the Albury Wodonga region on a fortnightly basis.

Please don't hesitate to send me a message through here, contact me on 0417 227 470 or via email: [email protected]

I can't wait to hear from you 😊

UPDATE:
Oh wow Tigga you are a legend!!
I put a post up on this page in early March about Tigga's journey and struggles (scroll down and have a look). A few months on from that post and with ongoing training here he is now with his mum and dad having coffee at a cafe down town. Thankyou so much to his dedicated mum who is so consistent in his training.
Look at Tigga now. His first cafe visit!!!
I am so proud, the increased confidence and trust he exhibits now is truly wonderful to witness. He loves our sessions. 🐾❤

Well Schooner time to say goodbye for now, this morning was our last session 😊. I am so proud of you and your mum, you have both grown together and come such a long way. Every Saturday morning, regardless of the weather we trained. I am so honoured to have shared this journey with you both. I know I will see you around 😉 Have fun at the footy and netball mate!!!

Hi everybody, I would like to introduce to you all another new mate of mine. This is Gilbert and his devoted mum. I was a referral and my name was given to Gilbert's mum to see if I could assist Gilbert. We have had our initial assessment and have spent time together deciding whether we can realistically help Gilbert with some major issues and as a result some major consequences that have occurred. I believe that we can definitely do some work with him. Through a strict and totally supervised training plan, increased leadership, a further strengthening of the engagement between himself and his mum, greater exposure to external and further internal environments in controlled settings, his mum, Gilbert and I will work him at his pace - one step at a time. Today was our first full training session. I decided today to do our session at the front of his home and work on starting to establish more leadership, starting some basic obedience and me being me, starting to strengthen that engagement. I was so impressed by what I witnessed today. We had a dog go passed us that was being reactive to Gilbert, and a man watching us that Gilbert saw and in both instances he looked (which we want) and then his mum was able to bring him around to face her. This in itself, for Gilbert and his mum was an absolutely mammoth achievement We will do a couple more sessions at home and then start to take him out further into the external environment. For safety reasons for all involved, Gilbert will be wearing a correctly fitting, light weight muzzle when we start to expand our training eternally.
Training equipment is so important and as we go forward, we will be taking off his big collar and using a different lead.
What a very positive session today Gilbert and his mum (and no muzzle needed) and he also has had a recent positive trip to the vet. Woohoo!!!
It is about meticulous planning and management. We do not want to set him up to fail and all the while keeping everyone safe.

I would like to introduce my special buddy "Coco". Coco is a beautiful chocolate Labrador and she is one of my regular dog walking clients 🥰. We have gone on so many "adventures" together over such a long time. I just love our time together - Coco is always so much fun.

Hi everyone I thought it would be a good time to put up an update post about my little blue mate Banjo, I first introduced him a couple of months ago.
Banjo, his humans and I are on an amazing journey together. Thankyou to his owners for coming out in the freezing cold this morning for training.
Banjo was a boy who due to a couple of intense situations occurring chose reactivity as his friend (he figured if I react first it will keep the scaries away).
He has come so far and I could not be anymore prouder of him as I was today. After a few months, starting with training in his backyard, learning basics, and instilling leadership into the mix, we started slowly taking him out into rural external environments, to experience different sights and sounds. He also was a vehicle chaser.. His confidence started increasing every session and we found out that he loves nothing more than his chin being tickled and a pat.
Fast forward to today....note the loose lead and I had left him in a flat collar for today to see how he would go. 💙 Our first time in a town outing at a place in Bendigo called Lake Neanger. I was so proud. Lots of sniff walking and strong engagement. He saw 3 dogs, many people, a child on a pushbike, a guy on a skate board, various vehicles. He watched, his body language showed he was interested but relaxed, no adverse reaction. He would turn to me and yes, at that time I would praise and reward. He was so happy with himself.
Banjo still has quite a journey to go ... but with consistent external exposure, continued maintence and structured planning of his sessions working him within his comfort levels and increasing his confidence, things are looking pretty good.
This is why my absolute passion is about working one on one with dogs that need that extra support. I do not work to set the dog's up to fail, I follow their lead as to what they can handle in a session and I always finish a session on a good note. I give them all the time they need and I will never rush them in training. I love the journey....I love the dogs 🐾

On one of our recent training sessions Raisin, her mum and I went on a street walk around Albury CBD. 🙂 Different environments, different distractions - different sights, surfaces and sounds. Lots of fun. Raisin decided to give us a pic out the front of the Police Station 😆

I would like to introduce another two beautiful babies... Cleo (with her mum) and Mack (with his dad).
Cleo and Mack are another two babies (not related) who were blessed to have be given a new forever home with loving humans. I have been associated with Mack and Cleo through pet sitting and training for a while now. Due to their past negative experiences, over time we have worked on giving these guys some basic manners (starting at home), working with their behavioural issues and then taking them out into the external environment.
On our second last and last session we took Mack and Cleo to the river. They went for a car ride, swam, saw some people, did some training and I have not seen two dog's as happy as they were in a very long time. (Mum and dad looked pretty happy too).
Mack and Cleo will need constant maintenance but they have come such a long way in their life journey, they have finally found love, trust and a real forever home.
Well done to you all. To human mum and dad, I am so proud of how far you both have come through your dedication and consistency. Thankyou 🐾

I am currently on a pet sit on the border. Oh boy look how lucky I am, I get to hang out and care for these gorgeous puppies for a few days 🥰. Thankyou to their human mum for entrusting me with their care. I am in heaven 🐶🐾😊

Hi everyone, I would like to introduce "Banjo" and his mum. Banjo is one of my Bendigo clients 😊
When I first met Banjo he was running his own race so to speak. He was pushy, reactive, didn't have very much respect for his mum or anyone really. He constantly jumped up on everyone and did whatever he wanted.
We have now had approx 4 sessions and we are reasserting some leadership and he has already realised that four paws on the ground gets you the prize lol... Good boy!! We have a long way to go and many goals to achieve, but like I say "little steps will get you over the mountain".
I am very much looking forward to our journey together. Next week we are going to start taking him out of the home (to semi secluded country areas) to start working in safe, external environments.
He also has started having some chin tickles and he loves them 😆
