Just had this memory pop up on my profile from when I'd first started dog grooming π₯Ήπ₯° I was working at ASDA on home-shopping, picking your groceries from 5am-10am then going straight to Scooby Salon (now Hotdogs), working voluntary until I was trained up enough to start taking my own clients β€οΈ ... Within the year, I'd built up enough clients to leave ASDA and take the plunge into self employment ... I remember how scary that was!! π¬π
If you'd asked me then, where I'd be in 8 years... I'd NEVER have believed that I'd be a business owner with the home-salon of my dreams π€―ππ₯Ήπ I've worked tremendously hard and done all of this completely by myself... from creating a business plan and getting a start up loan, to designing the pod, the new garden, right down to creating my logo!
PLUSH!puppies isn't quite where I want it to be yet... But I've gotta say I'm incredibly proud of myself so far! π₯Ήππ€β€οΈ THANK YOU SO MUCH to clients, family and friends who have supported me through the years, I could never have gotten here without you! π«
And to all the other "dreamers" ... DO NOT give up, even when it gets hard!! If you have a goal, MAKE IT HAPPEN!! πͺ ... There's no handouts in life, we have to create our own happiness πβ€οΈ

BIG TRANSFORMATION for sweet little Teddie!! ππ I can see why his owners wanted it all off with that BEAUTIFUL pattern hiding underneath! π

This was Teddies first visit with me and, I believe, his first professional grooming session!! π€― Although, his Mum had been doing a great job at home prior to this, which set him up nicely for success πβ€οΈ
Teddie is a nervous little fella π I was told he was likely to be quite difficult and that I could encounter some fear-aggression... ππ
... Honestly, that couldn't have been further from the truth! π€―π He was absolutely wonderful!! π Genuinely a pleasure to work with βΊοΈ gorgeous boy!!

The handsome little man, Henry π₯°π
This was Henry's first visit with me and he was an absolute superstar!! ππ Henry has unfortunately developed an inoperable tumor in the left side of his face ππ He certainly takes comfort in laying down on that side and I think that's his very passive way of protecting where he feels most vulnerable.
But with a little guidance, lots of reassurance and of course, some sausages π he soon started to realize that I can scissor up that area with barely any touching β€οΈ he was a real sweetheart and a pleasure to work with βΊοΈ

If any of my wonderful clients are looking for a DOG FRIENDLY pub with delicious food and lovely staff... I HIGHLY recommend The Golden Lion in Osmotherley β€οΈ after a nice walk around Cod Beck (Sheepwash), it's the perfect place to go! π
A lot of you have briefly met my partner, Josh, who is Head Chef there βΊοΈ Him and his amazing team have just launched their new menu and it looks bloody gorgeous!! π€€π

I just HAD to record a little clip of Archie having his face done to show his family β€οΈ I was told he can be a bit difficult but he was genuinely a statue!! ππ€― Although ... That could be down to the confusion over the very strange lady before him ππ€£π€·πΌββοΈ
I also want to commend Archie and Nancy's owners who had been continuing their dogs' "COVID cuts" themselves, right up until now!! π And honestly, what a job they'd been doing! π VERY impressed!!
