Attitude matters😎 The hardest thing about agility isn't teaching the obstacles. The hardest thing in agility and in any dogsports for that matter, is to develop the dogs attitude and their mental state to want to work with you as they enjoy the training🤗
Dogs work best when they are doing it for themselves🦴🥩 You want them to beg you, staring into your eyes👀, begging you and pushing you to start the session🔥⚡️ You will see it in their attitude, bright eyed, bushy tailed and some may even bark to get you to start already🙏🙏🙏 You will see a huge difference in the behavior of dogs that want to work vs dogs that were begged to follow you or dragged around to take the jumps.
Of course to teach your dog to enjoy training and to want to train with you requires patience and effort on your part. With the right technique, guidance and a little bit of patience you will get there💪💪
Want to participate in our FCI Agility National Championship but not a Malaysian Kennel Association? Yes as a non MKA member, you can also participate in our agility trials at no extra cost or fee.
However as a non-MKA member, your dog will not be in the running for MKA Dog of the Year Award if you have received clean run in Agility and Jumping 1-3. The Handler must be a MKA member and their dog (pedigree or non-pedigree) registered with MKA in order to be eligible for this award.

Teaching your dog agility requires a good relationship and bond between handler and dog. Your dog must be willing to learn and follow you in the presence of distraction. Your dog must be able to follow you without a leash, as we do not want to drag or force your dog to perform an obstacles when they are not ready.
Through agility, we build and strengthen the trust and bond between the both of you so that the session is fun and you have a happy dog. Being dragged around on a leash to interact with unknown obstacles degrades the trust between the two of you and will never be fun for the dog. When your dog learns everything as a trick, they will enjoy every session. They learn to develop speed and confidence and have such fun training alongside you.
