Day 4 of the horse show, and this is the first time I’ve seen him laying down since we got here. Progress😍 This weekend has been great for him with over 200 entries in this show and another smaller 3 day eventing type show at the same grounds there were a lot of people. With social distancing being encouraged it was a great place for both Sarah’s and my mustang to see lots of people walking and on horse back, kids on bikes, strollers, golf carts, and dogs, but at a safe distance. Perfect!!

We are off to our first horse show of 2020😃 an AQHA and APHA combined show at the Golden Spike in Ogden. Westley got the first slot in the trailer, and Athos is got the second. They are just coming along to get the experience of the horse show atmosphere.

I’ve been really busy, but finally got time to work Westley for a couple hours today, and got a lot accomplished. He’s pretty flighty, didn’t like his head touched, or his nose touched, so it was kind of difficult getting the halter on but I got r done. For those of you who have never followed any of my horses, I don’t take the tags off my horses, I always let the new adopters do that. He’s not easy, but 100 days is along time and once he get past stuff he seen to be good about it the next time. Really no fight in him that I’ve seen, just flight. By the end of today he was hanging his head and letting me scratch him, and he seemed very content.

This is my mustang WFR AS YOU WISH, AKA Westley, formally known as 2267 Challis Bay 4yr old gelding. He’s a big boy, big bone, big feet, and look at that mane, tail, and forelock! He will be up for adoption after the mania on July 5th.
