In loving memory of Tail Tail
Check out Gold-D’s video.
On 22 May 2019, a cat owner threw out 7 cats on the void deck of Block 2 in Eunos Crescent. We went down on 23 May to rescue the remaining 6 cats.

The 6 cats used to have a home until their owner decided to abandon them on 22 May 2019. They were left at the void deck to fend for themselves. Being home cats, they are naturally frightened and cuddled together for security. If the authority collects them and no shelter can take them, the entire family will be put to sleep. We went down to rescue them with the intend of rehoming them together. As the family was very close to each other, we wanted to rehome them as it is fair for them to be separated through no fault of theirs. We were unable to find someone willing to adopt the whole family and we strongly believe they should not be separated. The only way for them to stay together is if we adopt them. And we did! Abandoning pets is a crime in Singapore. As we went down to rescue the cats, some members of the public reported the owners for abandonment. The authorities visited the cats as part of their investigation. We look forward to justice for the 7 cats. (one of them was taken by a person claiming to be the owner so we rescued 6 instead of 7. The media report mention 8 but that is incorrect)
