Some Angolan keepers telling me that they don't see there snakes drinking.
What are your observations? I see it regularly in my Angolans, especially when I changed the water dishes. I guess people don't see it when they kept in racks. Here they climb, UV bath and explore the cage and waiting in ambush for there prey.

Since I introduced UVB light to all of my terrariums, you can watch them actively seeking it. Yes they are not sick without it, yes they reproduce without it. But are they happier with UVB? YES! So give a damn to all these long term breeders if you wish to have a happy and healthy snake! Spend some more bucks even on a large scale! This is not science based, it's simple observation and decision making for your animals and not for the big money.

Another educational:
On the top a normal Angolan female and on the bottom a specimen with a congenital shortened left mandibular bone (not owned by the APP). Feeding normal.

If you notice respiratory symptoms in your snake it's not always a pneumonia! Watch out for retained skin which can close the nostrils, eyes and heat pits which can result in inappetence as well.

Sometimes they just vomit undigested fur out like it happened with this male. For safety I always do an complete endoparasite screening which was without any results. This should show you that this behavior could be normal.
