Taking a vacation before returning to work was the best decision ever!! If you can, do it!!

I planned something that I didn’t have to think about too much, somewhere where I wouldn’t feel like I was missing out with a baby and a place I knew we would all enjoy.

This was Zion’s first flight, International travel, pool and beach experience AND he visited his first Micheline restaurant!

First family trip we will remember forever!

Today is my last free Friday before going back to work on Monday. What should I do with it?!? 😆

Big Changes at the D&D House! 🏡✨

Demo is officially underway, and we’re two weeks in! Our GC estimates an 8-month renovation, so fingers crossed we wrap it up before the year’s over. 🤞

We moved in five years ago with plans to upgrade within a year or two… but life happened. We didn’t even buy real furniture or hang curtains because we thought renovations were right around the corner. Fast forward, and here we are—finally making it happen!

Originally, we hoped to finish before Zion was born, but permitting delays had other plans. So 2025 is officially the year of the D&D House glow-up!

What’s changing? What started as a simple “master bedroom extension” (to use our oversized front balcony) quickly turned into a FULL house remodel. Here’s what’s on the list:

✔️ Expanding our master bedroom + creating a bigger bathroom & closet
✔️ New flooring & windows throughout
✔️ Complete exterior re-stucco + fresh landscaping
✔️ A brand-new staircase & garage update
✔️ Adding recessed lighting everywhere
✔️ A larger porch for extra outdoor space

Needless to say, we’ve got our hands full! 😅 Swipe to the last slides to see our inspo—fingers crossed it turns out just as dreamy.

KODA!!

Last but certainly not least blue collar dood! Our smallest baby of the litter joined the Roman family with his big brother Obi (a Demi baby!). They are enjoying each other’s company and have become the bestest of friends!

This closes out our 2024 winter litter (a few months late, but better late than never)! 😆💙

BENNY… #2 AKA MR. MUSTACHE!!

Black Collar Dood Mr. Mustache moved to South Carolina with his new family! His mama posts soo many updates and stories about him, I love watching him grow. He enjoys bird and people watching at the local parks. He is the goodest, sweetest, most well behaved baby and they are in love with him!

JAYY BABY!!

Grey Collar Dood had a broken leg while he was here. His mama jumped on him and we had to take him to the vet. He wore a splint for a few weeks and we kept him with us until the vet gave us the green light on his little bone healing.

He was adopted by the Sanchez family who also adopted Jazzy girl from our Winter ‘23 litter. So, Jazzy and Jay are half siblings!

Jazzy loves her little BIG brother and they are living the best life together!!

Orange Dood - now part of the Allard family moved to San Diego!

He is enjoying time with his pawrents and being a good boy! Sometimes Lula baby from our previous litter also visits!

He is soo loved and we are extremely grateful to the Allard family for trusting us again with a babe!

BENNY BABY!!

Brown collar dood is living his best adventure and travel buddy life with his mama in Utah. He’s already had a few cross country road trips to Chicago and back and has done amazing! He loves life on the road and being his mama’s baby!

MOZZIE!!

Yellow Dood - now part of the Thompson family was selected first on puppy pick day and was the first to go home. 😊💙

He is doing amazing and getting along with his older 🐶 brother James.

The plan was for Mozzie to possibly spend some time with us at the end of September while his parents went on a short trip, but clearly Zion had other plans and we unfortunately were not able to take care of him after all. 😅
