The Autumn meeting is now open for registration. The meeting will be held over two days.

Friday 8th November is a designated 'non-diplomate day' packed with great lectures on ultrasound and radiography, with plenty of interactive radiographic cases.

Saturday 9th November is open to all and this year will be based on the theme of 'Head and neck imaging'. We have some really great speakers lined up, so it is definitely one not to miss!

With Autumn rolling in it's almost time for our second meeting of the year. If you have an abstract you would like to present on Saturday, we are open for submissions.

Abstracts should not exceed 350 words and should not have been previously published or submitted to a scientific journal. Abstract presentations will be 10 minutes long, with 5 minutes allowed for questions from the audience. The full guidelines are available on the website. The deadline for submission is Sunday 22nd September 2024. Abstracts should be submitted to [email protected]

Registration for our pre-BSAVA Spring Meeting in Manchester Central on Wednesday 20th March 2024 is now open.

To register for the meeting, head to the website now- https://www.eavdi.org/eavdi-bid - meeting registration will close 1st March at the latest and places are limited so do register early.

Talking of which, there is still time to submit an abstract if you have something you'd love to share - see the website for full submission details, then email your submission to [email protected]; the deadline for abstract submission closes on Sunday February 11th 2024. Successful submissions will get free entry to the meeting.

Registration is now open for our Pre-BSAVA Spring Meeting in Manchester Central on 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. We've got a great day planned, with some amazing speakers covering topics including musculoskeletal ultrasound, more orthopaedic imaging, whether we should be worried about patient radiation dose, and plenty of fab cases! As well as that we will have plenty of time for cutting edge abstract presentations.

Preparations for our Pre-BSAVA Meeting 2024 are underway. The meeting will take place in Manchester Central on Wednesday 20th March. We will be sure to let you know when registration is open. I hope you are all keeping well, have recovered from the frivolity of the Autumn Meeting, and are looking forward to the festive season!

We had the best time this weekend and we hope you all did too! There was a great turnout at our Autumn meeting.

☢ EAVDI-BID's Autumn Meeting is incoming! ☢

This year our Autumn meeting will take place at the picturesque Tewinbury Farm in Hertfordshire www.tewinbury.co.uk.

A non-diplomate film reading day will be held on Friday 10th November to cater for first opinion vets, interns and junior residents.

Our main meeting will be held on Saturday 11th November to include abstracts, interesting cases and lectures covering up to date aspects of liver and renal imaging and decision making in liver disease.

SAVE THE DATE(s)! ☢

This year's EAVDI-BID Autumn Meeting is to be held in/around St Albans on 10th-11th November 2023.

On Friday 10th November we will be holding a non-diplomate day, specifically for residents (particularly first and second years), interns, and first opinion practitioners.

Saturday 11th November is the main meeting day open to all members, with a great mix of lectures, abstracts and cases. Abstract submission will be open nearer the time.

So pop the date in your diary, and hopefully we'll see lots of you there!
