The owner of a dog training facility in Hunt County, Texas has been arrested for animal cruelty: Craig Hanna, owner of United K9 Academy in Caddo Mills, has been charged with cruelty to animals, following an investigation by the SPCA of Texas Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit.

I'm in dire need of work for July. I knew my part time job for the summer would be part time, I didn't realize that I would only get six test hours for the entirety of June and then start my 25% in July (and I'll get my paycheck for that in August). My revenues are now so low that my main two ad sources only pay out every second month (and of course on the same month). I'm okay now in June because they both paid out this month and I'll save as much as I can for next month, but in July I will only get my patreon donations which is 80USD at the moment, the 10-20USD from android apps and I can't remember exactly what my hourly rate was at the part time job but I will get a little bit for those test 6 hours as well I think. At best this will cover my basic bills and insurances.
I don't need much to get by but Nils goes to the vet every month now (administering of pain relief shot and check up on his current state) and the bill ends up on anything between 110USD and 200USD. I have savings that will cover about 2-3 vet visits, but I may need to use that for my basic costs too. Adding to an already quite tight situation.
I know that this is a tall order. Why pay me to draw when you can use AI for free, right? I put my soul into my art, I spend my time paying attention to how you describe your pet or your character and do my best to have their personality show. And you'll get to sleep well at night knowing you're helping someone in a tight spot.
After next month I'll be okay. My boss seemed happy with those test hours and it looks like they may be interested in keeping me at an hourly rate through the fall at least and I will be able to start looking for junior positions within my field in winter already. I will start getting studying benefits in fall as well. It's just July that's tough and any commissions at all will help greatly.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, it's embarrassing to share something like this, especially because I thought the summer job would cover me but it is what it is.

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding, Training and Wash dogs if necessary.
• Assist in taking dogs in/out in the Daycare.
• Keep records of dogs in training.
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
• Passion to help and treat animals.
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
