It’s been a very special 3.5 years with having a very special Queen in our house. Our very first Bully called Buff Bullies Mishka aka Queen Mishka. This tiny Bully running the roost in a kennel full of rottweilers. She started out as my pick of litter from a friends ( Yaseen Adams) litter that I went to go & see and ended up taking her home that very same weekend. A present to the love of my life, Theresa Nel. A dog that nearly shattered our hearts once we found out the dog we fell in-love with had been diagnosed with the dreaded parvo virus. This girl showed us what fight means. She overcame all obstacles, from beating parvo to winning her first Overall Best in Show @ her very first Bully Specialist Show as a Junior under renowned international Bully Specialist judge Mr. Jan Ruzicka. She went on to obtain her Champion status under the Bully Assure registry where she won Multiple Best of Breeds. I decided to campaign her under a different registry where she again went on to win Overall Best in Show at the ABRSA registry judged by a renowned judge Mr. Anthony Gray from the 🇺🇸. It’s been a fun filled journey to say the least from being graded 91 % at a breed appraisal to becoming a Champion to winning Multiple Best in Shows under different registries under renowned Bully Specialist judges from abroad. Her recent achievement two weeks ago was yet another Overall Best Female in Show where she was beaten by a beautiful French Bulldog male worthy of the Overall Best in Show @ the SA Bully Fest Vol. 2 under renowned judge from the 🇺🇸 Mr. James Chao. This weekend we will be attending the ABRSA Nationals which will also be the last time we will show Mishka in South-Africa before we retire her. We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every person that shared this journey with us & to the fellow competitors we have gone up against over the years I want to say thank you & good luck with your future endeavors in & out the ring.
We not sure if we will ever be showing bullies again but the breed has definitely left a warm place in our hearts 🤗 ❤️
