Looking for a loving home for our Cain. We have had the honour of having a few litters of Appenzeller Sennenhunds over the years and Cain is from our last litter a year and a half ago. We kept him because he was showing signs of cognitive and physical differences. Cain being the resilient cutie he is proved all the professional assumptions wrong and does very well physically and cognitively. At one point Cain started to bite a few adults on the arm or hand. At that point he was sent to a specialized trainer for a couple of weeks to make sure we knew the behaviour was able to change for Cain. After he came back he was a different dog. He is eager to please so learns quickly and we have not had a problem so far. We also make sure he is in low stimulating environments and keep up with the training. We are looking for a home that we can support until things are settled. We would also love to be “the sitter” when one is needed so he could visit with his mom and grandma in the Comox Valley. We are looking for a home with no young children and certain animals. Cain gets along with other dogs and lives with a cat however he is best on his own. If you see your home being a good fit for him send me an email [email protected] or call 250.792.1834
