Oh dear, we made mum cry this morning 😔🙄
Our behaviour has been getting progressively worse on walks, where we just don't want to listen and we don't want to go home so we just lay down and refuse to move.
Mum sounds like a crazy person when shes trying to convince us there's more fun to be had at home, this has been building for a few days.
Well, this morning we both took it up a notch. There's been a dead bird at the park the last few days and I've taken to keep rolling in it, mum forgot it was there as we went to a different park yesterday for a change in routine.
Whilst mum was talking to another dog walker i decided to pick up the dead bird and run around the park with it, (i thought the other dog might take it) mum ran around after me and convinced me to drop it for treats. Then Willow ran over and was rolling in the bird but then the dog walkers dog wanted to roll in the bird too, so Willow thought the dog wanted her ball so that was it WW3 ensued.
Willow chased the dog nipping at his heels, Willow is very lucky as he was a BIG dog. Suffice to say mum was mortified and apologised and actually shes never known Willow to go for a dog in this way 🤦♀️ (even though its totally normal pack behaviour 🙈)
So that was it, we excused ourselves except when the leads went on we wouldn't walk. Mum tried to encourage us to walk by scooping her fingers under our harnesses. Nope wasn't having it. So mum sat down with us, because really what could she do and she thought perhaps we were a bit tired after all.
In the end she had to pick us both up whilst everyone was watching us. We got off the grass to the path, she popped us down (we are quite heavy combined 🤣) and we still wouldn't walk. I was bit bored of being naughty at this point and was going to walk, but Willow wasn't, so mum walked a few steps from Willow as mum knows she hates being left on her own and sure enough she followed us.

Then we crossed the busy road and we decided we couldn't be bothered to walk again and then my lead unclipped itself from it's harness! 😱 Luckily mum can move like lightening with the right encouragement as i was right next to the road.
Mum eventually got us home, suffice to say we are not using that lead anymore and mum is thinking about just walking us when Dad is at home too.
Photo of us being so proud of being stubborn 🙈 and photo of us now asleep 🤣
