(Late post oops) SO Stoked with our results at this years EKKA!!!! We took 5 pullets and 1 x Hen! LOVING THE TROPHY!! HEHE

Our results were SO unexpected ❤️
Dark Brahma pullet class, 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Dark Brahma Hen class- 1st

Im over the moon with my Dark Brahma pullet she was amazing - the judge said she was one if if not the best Brahma he's ever handled, such lovely feedback!

She came home with -
1st Dark Brahma pullet
Champion Dark Brahma
Champion Brahma of Show
Champion Large Soft feather Heavy - Pullet
Reserve Champion Large Soft feather
Reserve Champion Heritage Breed Large

SO many amazing results from all our Brahma and Cochin breeders that put in a phenomenal amount of work in to bench some cracker birds!!!

I have accidentally deleted show the list of people waiting for dark Brahmas- I have 2 pairs - possibly trios ready to go, if you have asked for a trio- please pop me a private message- show quality birds - 9 months ish will lay by November this year possibly earlier!

(Females will not be sold without a male, alot of work has gone into the quality of these birds all from my show team of birds in the below post, I do not want to wreck my hard work or have birds crossed with birds of a different standard) I really want people to breed on quality birds ❤️🐓❤️🐓❤️🐓

Selling for a friend- 9 Brahma hens - Location beerwah qld

All laying between 12 months and 18 months, dark x in colour with 2 dark Brahma girls in the mix as well. The duck in the picture can come with them as he loves them and has grown up with them but is not to be eaten! Also dark Brahma boy with leakage can go with the girls. $60ea for the Brahma hens.

Also 1 pyle girl and 2 gold partridge girls with gold partridge cockeral $200 for the quad (or trio if youdont want cockeral). No faults in these guys but in breeding condition (missing feathers) originally bred from my birds. Pics of these to come sorry!

FOR SALE - TO BE SOLD AS A BREEDING TRIO/QUAD ONLY - WILL NOT SEPERATE.

Parting ways with my Gold partridge breeding trio, plus 2 x blue partridge hens. Both groups come with a cracker Pullet breeding gold partridge cockeral.

GP girls have many wins and champs under there belt, 1 of the hens is a cracker pullet breeder who won champ overall Brahma out of over 100 at Ipswich poultry show, plus overall champ rare breed. One GP girl is a George Mercieca hen, one last years bred by myself - all nice rich dark golds no creamy gold. These golds have been so spoilt and are used to sleeping on my deck 🙈

2 BP hens, full sisters- Champion Brahma Sydney show last year. Champion BP Ipswich poultry show.

Only parting with due to keeping one colour only.

# # birds are my breeders and selected to work together to compliment each others areas of improvement. 6 hundred BP trio, 7 hundred gold quad # # #

SHOW QUALITY CHICKS

There is no such thing.

Sorry I have to write this as I'm getting so many enquiries about show quality chick's and people not being told the 100% truth / and not knowing any difference.

You CANNOT PICK show quality as a day old, or even couple month old. You just can't. Brahma and Cochin take 10-11 months to really look fab.

You either pay more and know what you are getting in an older bird, or you can buy from breeders with proven show birds, knowing that you don't always get show quality from show quality but have better odds. Breed 100 birds get a good one. Less of your very very selective in breeding and you've worked your the line enough to know what your lines throw from the background of them (leakage, type, wing and feet probs)

Please don't be ripped of paying ridiculous amounts for day old or month old and being told they are show quality. You can pick some faults at this age but there's more you can't!

Trio - 1 x 2yo Cochin hen - Champion overall Cochin at Brisbane Royal Show, many other Champions and best of breed under her belt as well. Cracker Hen.

1 x 16ish month old Pullet- Quite a few Class wins, and Champion Cochin. Brilliant colour good type a little smaller in build than the hen.

1 x Cochin cockeral, only shown twice and won his cockeral class both times, to be beaten by above hen for overall Cochin. Still alot of filling out to do.

Looking at popping them on APPAP with res of $650, anyone interested let me know will get pics over the weekend.

Last weekend was a ripper, Ipswich poultry show, over 1200 birds, we won champ blue partridge and champion dark Brahma, as well as Reserve champion over all exciting!!

AND TODAY!!! TOOK OUT CHAMPION BRAHMA AT QLD ROYAL YAY!!! With my beautiful dark Brahma girl that won her colour class last week! ABSOLUTELY STOKED!!! ❤🐓❤🐓❤🐓❤🐓

Also... just found out we won CHAMPION OVERALL COCHIN at EKKA too!!! Great day!!!

EOI - GOLD PARTRIDGE BANTAM BRAHMA - WHOLE BREEDING TEAM PLUS CHICKS - approx 20-30 chick's likely more!

I have made the heartbreaking decision to let go of my Gold partridge Bantam brahmas. Bred initially by Brahma and Cochin club president Bryan Meade, there are 4-6 hens, 2 roosters and quite alot of chick's that I would love to go to someone passionate about breeding. Not to be sold as pets only, must be to a breeder.

These are one of only 2 lines of gold partridge Bantam brahmas in Australia, these and Luke Prices.

There could be up to 30 chick's hatches as well I would like to go with them after being bred from the best cockeral from last year back to the mums.

I will take more photos on the weekend - Price dependant on finding a breeder! May be auctioned on Appap.
