Hi wonderful people! I hope you’re having a good week in this crazy, crazy world. 💀

Little announcement. Due to personal reasons, and a way too busy schedule I can’t currently stay on top of, I have made the difficult decision to refocus my attention to other things in my life. I am going to keep this account for my general interests and my personal collection, but I simply don’t have the capacity to plunge my time into acquiring new oddities for trade anymore.

So what does that mean for you? Firstly, I am selling the last of my remaining stock at around trade prices. See below. Yup, you won’t get them any cheaper. And once they are gone they are gone. So move FAST. I will consider payment plans, because I will still be around (just super low maintenance with social media) but priority will be given to single payments/shorter plans.

Secondly, while I don’t plan to give up all of my collection, I am not actively collecting, and I may sell some of my collection. This means if I’ve got anything you’ve had your eye on but thought I would never sell? NOW is the time to DM me and make an offer! These won’t be at trade prices, but I am open to deals.

Lastly, I want to thank each and every one of you who has made my time in the oddities community so much fun. It’s been a blast and I have learned so much. Hopefully you will still follow me and we can still have great conversations about collecting, as well as the opportunity to see what I relinquish from my own collection. 💀💀💀💀

This fantastic guy is available on layaway now. Can’t believe he hasn’t been snapped up yet! He’s a fine, robust (check out how thick his jaw is!) example of a skull from a medical skeleton, used as a teaching aid for decades. From the Victorian era. Look at those sutures! 🥰🥰🥰

There is some minor damage to one side of the skull by the jaw but it’s not particularly visible, and to be expected in something of this age. However, it’s reflected in the price.

New! This is such an incredible example of a medical 💀 and it’s now available on payment plan where it’s legal.

This beauty is a robust male 💀 with some great character. Fantastic condition for its age. Looks like he was a pipe smoker in life with the characteristic erosion to the front teeth where the pipe would be held. Makes him pretty unique. Slight damage to one of the bones on the left side of the skull but you have to really hunt for it. This one would make a great addition to any collection. DM to discuss.

Available - this fabulous medical specimen of a h*man pelvis. I have a particular soft spot for these and have several in my own collection. I’m not sure why but I think the anatomy of the pelvis is incredible. Fantastic alternative to a 💀 and reasonably priced. This particular pelvis is in exceptional condition. It is male.

That aside, how are you, wonderful people? I hope 2024 is off to a great start. Mine has been eventful already! Now things have settled down I want to thank everyone who participated in the Xmas raffle. The 💀 arrived safely in its new home (see pic!) and the charity portion was donated to REFUGE4PETS who emailed to say thank you. How nice is that?

As those of you who have participated in a raffle before know, REFUGE4PETS is one of my favourite local charities, fostering pets so their owners can escape domestic abuse. This year the charity is running an ‘Extra Bowl at Christmas’ appeal to sponsor Christmas dinner for a fostered pet. So not only will your charitable contribution feed a pet this Christmas, but it will also go a huge way to reassure their owner that their pet is safe and being looked after while they get their life back together. This lil bone cruncher is now available to own. Female, and I’m pretty sure she is of Asian origin. For some reason, her jaw pathology just makes me want to shove a cigar in there and take a snap. 😂😬What an expression!

The pathology is definitely peri-mortem (as opposed to, for example, a broken jaw from being mishandled after death) as the bone is smooth and healed over. Very interesting. I wonder what sort of issues this gave her with talking in life…

She also has exceptional sutures, including the rarer metopism suture (down the front of the cranium) and what looks like a healed broken nose!

If this one could speak, she would have some stories to tell. Are you brave enough to listen? 🤫
