Grandpa finally got me talked into starting his mule. I've never worked with a mule and never thought I would but when you're the grand daughter of a mule lover I guess it's not if it's when you'll be starting a mule😆 Jonny had his first round pen session with me last night and it went well. He's very lazy but also very smart! Follow along for updates. Should be an interesting journey😁

We're back at it! Gave this girl a couple months off and now it's time to get consistent again. Hoping to have her in shape and ready for some exhibitions come spring. Can't wait to see what we accomplish this year!💯

These guys are home bound tonight after 30 rides with me. It's crazy how much of a difference just 30 rides can make with a horse! All that I asked of these horses was for 1% better than the ride before. And they gave me that and more. Big thanks to the owners for trusting me with this dynamic duo. Best of luck with them!

These two have been doing great even with the way the weather has been acting. They rarely spook even if the wind is blowing so hard it feels like it just might knock us over. As three year olds I would expect the cold days to affect them but they ride off like it's just another day. Of course the red mare has been a little more challenging than the gentle giant of a gelding. They both have their quirks but they're on the right track to being some good ranch horses!

A couple of nice soon to be ranch horses came in for 30 days of riding before they start working on the ranch. These guys have improved so much already and we are only on day 8. These are the kinds of horses that make my job easy. Their owner did a great job with the foundation work! Can't wait to see how they turn out after the full 30 days😁

Miss Sailor has adjusted well to life on the farm. She made me pretty nervous when she first got here but we've made a whole lot of progress! She rides like a champ in the arena and around the farm. She's pretty reactive so the next step is to get her down the road without too much reaction to new things. Extremely excited for this mares future! She just needs more time and lots of patience💯

This little lady is doing awesome. She works really well in the arena and rides down the road without any problems! She moves off leg pressure and is picking up neck reining quickly. She adjusts super well to anything new that is thrown at her. She's a quick little learner! She'll make the perfect little horse for whoever she ends up with. So glad I could put a good foundation on her😁

Look at this little cutie! This is a 2 yr old quarter pony mare. She's had some ground work done and a saddle thrown on and I believe she's ready for her first ride. She's very smart and willing. Can't wait to get her going and see how she turns out😁 blessed to get to do what I love with all of these horses!

Winston is off to his new home in Garretson, SD! He sure was crazy when he first got here. I'm happy with how much I was able to calm him down! He taught me how to manage something that's been untouched with a super spooky disposition. Thankful for every horse I get to work with💯

Introduced this big beautiful mare to the farm today. She's a 4 yr old who needs a little bit of work and then she will be diving into a barrel racing career. I can already see a lot of promise in this mare. It might be a long journey but when we get there it will be worth it. I'm very excited to work with her and grow with her! I believe I decided on the name Jasmine and Jazz or Jazzy for short❤️

Today I watched one of my heart horses go to his new home! It's always bittersweet to see them go but I'm excited to see how he progresses and what his future will bring with his new owner. Willie was hands down one of the sweetest horses I've ever been able to work with. He taught me many lessons and was one of the first horses I brought home after moving back from Tennessee. He's helped me grow into the horseman I am and I'm so thankful I was able to have him in my life when I did! I have no doubt his new owner will love and spoil him😊❤️

Miss Maggie went to a new home over in Elgin, Nebraska today! Grateful for the lessons she taught me and happy with the start I was able to put on her. Best of luck to her new owners. She's sure a good horse!

Maggie has progressed so much since the beginning. She took saddling so well but she was extremely stubborn when it came to listening to me in the saddle. She was always wanting to go to the gate from the start. I finally got her moving out and after a couple really hard days of fighting with her on her back she decided I was the boss. She rides out so nice now! She’s such a gorgeous little filly and she’ll be going up for sale very soon!

Willie is my superstar🤩 this guy is my heart horse. There’s just something about him that’s special❤️ he’s been doing great in the arena with picking up his leads and loping circles. I’ve been dragging some tires on him and introducing him to new things as often as I can. I’ve been taking him on longer rides down the road and out in the pastures and he takes everything like a champ!

Another one arrived at the farm just yesterday! He’s quite the spook and doesn’t trust people too much. He flinches and wants to kick when I touch certain spots where he isn’t comfortable. Lots of brushing and gaining trust will be a big part of the process before I even introduce him to a saddle. Should be a fun and successful summer project. I believe we decided on the name Winston for this one. Courtesy of my boyfriends son😆

Maggie just arrived at the farm a week ago! She’s a two yr old and she’s ready to get some work done and a saddle thrown on. She’s super sweet when she warms up to you and absolutely loves being pet❤️ she’ll be a quick learner!

Willie, my main mount. He’s a 3 yr old gelding and he’s got a good mind that comes with him. The plan was to sell him this spring, but he might end up staying on the farm. He’d be a good one to help with c**t breaking. He’s still learning so I might decide he should go in another direction and in that case he’ll be looking for the right home so stay tuned! He sure is a cool dude😎

Miss Mocha came to me as a halter broke two year old. She was pushy and spooky and had never had a saddle on her back. The first time I got a saddle on her things got a little ranchy. She bucked hard in the round pen but eventually settled down and ended up never bucking like that again thank goodness! She was Hancock bred so that was kind of expected😆 she had a great start to her and a great mind. She was a very smart two yr old with a great future ahead of her! She went to South Dakota to continue her adventures with Tanya😁 I guarantee you’ll see these two doing some fun things in the future

My girl Skeeter went to her new home last fall. I pulled this horse out of the neighbors pasture with no expectations and she turned into one of my ❤️ horses. She didn’t know how to lope a circle, but eventually I turned her into a nice little barrel horse. I decided to sell her so I could buy some two yr olds and send her to a good home where a little girl could spoil her rotten! Because that’s what every horse deserves when they make it to that point
