Welcome to your new life Sully as a Sunny Saint! ❤️🐾
Another Saint in need of rescue, this guy is in the Central Valley. We would love to help, but it's hard to do when we do not have any available fosters in California with a secure yard.
Please, if you can foster, fill out a foster application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/foster-application.html
If you can't foster, then please share and let's work on getting this boy out of the shelter and on the road to a new life.
If you have filled out a foster application, are in California and haven't heard from us... please reach out in messenger and/or email: [email protected]

This petite 3 year old girl is looking for an immediate foster or even better, a forever home!
Tiffany is about 100#, shy at first, warms up quickly, housebroken, very loving, wants to be with you type of girl. She has a little bit of a prey drive, though she does redirect quickly. Gets along with dogs her own size who are confident & cats that don't run. Not recommended for a household with small dogs.
She just wants a home to call her own, she's young and playful. Up to day on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped. Currently located in Central California.
If you're interested in fostering or adopting please fill out an application at https://www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html

Buckey & Sandi (aka Bella)
Hey Sunny Saints supporters. Buckey & Sandi (aka Bella) are STILL looking to find their forever homes! If you recall, both were pulled from a Central Valley shelter & were in danger of being euthanized. Neither were in the best of shape, Buckey, the male, was a bit worse than the female.
Fast forward a few months, and much thanks and appreciation to Oakdale Veterinary Group both have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, gastropexy, put on some weight and are flourishing.
There are some lasting effects due to the poor conditions that they were in, but nothing that a little monitoring & management wouldn't help. (Arthritis, hips) Buckey will need to be on pain management medication throughout his lifetime
The do not have to go together, Sandi would love to go to a home with another dog and Buckey loves to snuggle with his people. BUT they do love eachother, so if you wanted to give both a home, that would be amazing!
Please consider adopting these sweeties. Please go to our website at www.sunnysaints.org to get more information on these two wonderful dogs and please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html
Waggin Wednesday June 2024
This week's Waggin Wednesday is a fairly recent adoption... Little Toby!!!
Here's what his family says about him:
-----------------------------------------------------
Our lives changed surprisingly when we found Sunny Saints sitting outside of a local PetSmart. We were matched with Patrick, who was renamed Toby, after the Toby Keith.
During our time together, Toby has learned to recognize his name, plays with his new sister Bailey, and enjoys chewing on his toys. Since getting his shots, we have enjoyed trips to Starbucks for pup cups and beach visits.
One of the words that was used to describe our new furry friend was Spunky. That is a great way to describe Toby’s personality. The Sunny Saints family was amazing at helping us find a pup that completed our family and helped us navigate having a Saint Bernard. So thankful for everyone.
Thank you!
Taylor D.

Playful gal ready for a Fur-ever home!
Tiffany is currently in foster in Central California. She is a petite 3-year-old spayed female (just under 100#) who loves to be with people and has fun energy. She is under socialized (though she's come a LONG way if you're watching this video). She would do best with an active family that has older children as well as a confident dog her size or larger. She does have a little prey drive though redirects easily (still recommend no small dogs or cats). Please forgive the "oof" at the end of the video, Tiffany exuberantly decided to try to get in the camera person's lap LOL
If you're interested in adopting this sweetie, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html
Hey Sunny Saints Family. We pulled Carley recently and she is in a temporary foster home... so in order to be able to continue to be able to help, we need to find a longer term foster home ... the sooner the better, we only have until the week of June 09, 2024 to move her . She's under 2 years old, gets along with other dogs, is good with people, and has amazing puppy energy. Please help us by fostering this pretty little girl. Fill out a foster application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/foster-application.html

Introducing Handsome Houston!
Now available!
3 year old Houston was rescued from a cold kennel at South L.A Shelter. Luckily the great team there reached out to Sunny Saints & we immediately sent a volunteer evaluator who reported he was a sweetheart & friendly boy who desperately needed TLC and to get out of the shelter.
He is now completely vetted & over his "cold".
Houston’s wonderful foster family says he has gained eight pounds & now weighs the perfect 116 pounds for his smaller frame. He is a loving boy content to snooze with his head on your lap for as long as you like. Not a pushy boy, Houston does love "pets" and affection. Houston’s coat had been neglected but well on his way to a beautiful full coat thanks to his amazing foster mom.
Houston acclimated quickly inside the home with 2 much larger Saint Bernards and is dog friendly, housebroken and neutered.
He behaved very well with visiting children & guests over the holidays. We have not tested Houston with cats. He is being fostered in Los Angeles CA.
This boy is SO excited to see his new world so pulls a bit when he is on leash. But we know just a bit more consistent leash training & he will be the perfect companion on any new adventures 🥰
A whole new world awaits Houston and his future lucky family.
For more information or to arrange to meet Houston please complete a no obligation interest application.

Update; We have Houston with a very special foster & he is receiving medical care and being very well taken care of. He will be available for adoption eventually and so far seems to be a fantastic boy. If you would like to donate to Sunny Saints St. Bernard Rescue So that we can continue to provide medical care and rescue these beautiful dogs please go to this link. https://www.sunnysaints.org/donate.html
UPDATE!!
As of Monday Dec 11 he is being extended another 7 days at shelter for quarentine & antibiotics . While we do not love that he's at the shelter still do want him to remain in quarantine and taking the medication while we find a foster.
Also the person at the shelter told me they have NOT got him marked for any kind of euthanasia list ( Thank GOD) believe me I'm keeping track of that! 🙏
FOSTER NEEDED URGENTLY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
We won't be able to rescue Houston from LA pound ......😔 unless we get a foster home.
He is very friendly but prefer no other dogs in home (has recent URI ) Contact Ana Maria Suarez pm or text 805 813 7212.
