Cara Mia and Max had six beautiful Mi-Ki puppies. Four boys and two girls! Four white ones, a sable and white boy, and a black and white female. We're so glad they are here!

Many thanks to my wonderful husband Bill for meeting Bonnie Thomson of Brumby's Run Mi-Kis at DIA. This handoff is to ensure Estrellita's 2nd Chance's valuable DNA from AMRA's frozen s***m stores have a wider impact. Look for more great Mi-Kis with fun colors and gentle temperaments out of this partnership! It was a tight layover connection, but they'll make it home to California tonight.

Happy birthday to Yohanna (yesterday) and her littermates Yasmine and Yukon! We thought she might deliver her litter for her birthday, but she says it's not quite time. We're so grateful to have this girl out of Savannah and Harley and look forward to wonderful pups from her soon!

Jay and Irwin are headed off to their home. This means so much to us all to have a little Flower seed potted in the home where Flower bloomed and was cherished. These boys can't replace her, but having a little piece of her will help heal our hearts. Jay will be kept intact as a future breeding hopeful.

Jovie and Chance are proud parents of four beautiful Mi-Ki puppies. I love their deep, rich shades! There are 3 boys and one black female. I'm taking suggestions for posh names for this "P" litter!

It's was Mei Mei's first show today. She even beat Mirabella, though they both did well. I'm so proud of these puppies representing the breed. Hoping we get to go back for more shows this weekend, but it all depends on when the mamma's decide to deliver.

Joyce has had her very first litter. Just like her mom, Evie, she had five puppies for her premiere. Three girls and two boys. It looks like four are black and white, but we may see eyebrows develop in the coming weeks. There is one sable girl. All seem to be doing well. Taking suggestions for "L" names.

Thank you, everyone, for the birthday love. My birthday wish this year was to have Poppy recover from her immune hemolytic anemia that she's been battling for a couple of very stressful weeks. She has finally turned the corner and is getting her poppy-ness back! Thanks for your continued prayers for our girl. Much love to you all!

Sophie is one of our former pups who is in need of a new family due to unforseen circumstances. Sophie is great with bigger dogs and is an amazing athlete who has enjoyed long daily walks (over 3 miles). She is very sweet with big, soulful eyes and a permanent smile. Skip the puppy phase with this cutie. She is 1.5 years old. We're in Colorado.

We got our fancy photos back from UKC's Premier. Zelda got Best of Breed two out of three shows, and Reserve Best of Breed for Saturday. Zelda only needs one more leg to be a Grand Champion! Midwest Mini's Mirabella got Best Female in two out of three shows. This was her first show ever, so we're very pleased with her debut!

We had a special wish for our differently-abled girl Delilah - that she would be the perfect inspiration for a child with mobility issues. That wish came true today for one very special family who have made rescue their lifestyle for both humans and critters. They believe Delilah may very well be the rescuer in this situation. She is already following her human brother everywhere and has made friends with the cat. Her brother is so precious, but we're keeping him cropped for privacy. We hope to have more updates in the future of this dynamic duo!

I'm so grateful these wonderful pups get to carry on the precious lines of Moses, Truffle, Dexter, Isabelle, Fran, and Legend. Our smoothie boy Griffin will be living with his mom Fran (now retired) and will be one of our future studs. Graycie, our blue fawn long coat, will be staying here. Kipling (formerly Guylian) will be headed to the Houston area for breeding. Many thanks to the Fuller family for helping us preserve the Mi-Ki dog legacy by being a guardian home and our friends!

Bernadette, our Smooth-face Mi-Ki mommy, loves her long-coat daughter Vienna. Vienna is the biggest Mi-Ki puppy we've ever had, weighing 2 pounds at just 4.5 weeks. We're lucky if our puppies weigh 2 pounds at 10 weeks (our minimum for adoption! ) This is probably because she has unlimited access to the milk bar, being an only child. For those of you asking about the mighty Mega Munchkin, he's now 17 weeks old and weighs a whopping 1 pound, 2.5 ounces today! We've experimented feeding him a lower protein diet on the hunch that he might have a liver shunt. He's hardly had any hypoglycemic episodes with this change in diet, and we're encouraged. The goal is to help him be as sturdy as he can be. Then we'll see if he's a candidate for testing and treatments to give him the best life. For now, that still means feedings every 4-5 hours (even through the night.) About Us
The Mi-ki is the sweetheart of the toy breeds, and we’ve found that to be absolutely true of our dogs! Known for their talents as therapy dogs because of their intuitive natures, we brought our first Mi-ki home to act as a medical alert dog. It wasn’t long before we added more!
