🥇MRC’s First Ever Horse Show🥇
What a day! Riders of the club showed up ready to ride and rose to the challenge with focus and heart.

Each division included three classes—flat, jumping, and turnout—with riders tackling skills aligned to the levels they self evaluated at. It was both a learning experience and a chance to shine in a more formal setting.

Horse shows can test your nerves, but this community showed incredible poise and determination.

Riders of MRC continue to raise the bar! The team is so proud for this community.

Cowboy dreams = unlocked

This August, we’re heading out west with — and yes, it’s exactly as epic as it sounds.

14 lucky riders.
60+ miles.
6 days.
40+ horses to move.
Countless “Is this real life?” moments.

We’ll be riding through the Rockies by day, sleeping under the stars by night, and pretending we’re in a Western the whole time.

A few spots are left for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Saddle up before it’s gone!

Most likely, the horses were leased or boarded at the historic Claremont Riding Academy which was located on 86th & Amsterdam Avenue. After 110 years in business, the riding institution closed it’s doors in 2007.

There are still active bridle paths in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park that riders can enjoy today. Join us this February at MRC’s Brooklyn Hack and go for a ride in NYC!

Spring Hunter Pace season is coming up! New riders to MRC this year, who are interested in pacing, now is the time to start training for them.
Our Bootcamps are 90-minute group lessons held in a gorgeous indoor arena where you can peel off some of those base layers and get your sweat on! 😅

🎅🏼Calling all riders and friends of the Bedford areas!

Please join for their 2nd annual BRLA Tinsel Trot on Succabone Road, Dec. 15, 11:30 am. Horses and riders in festive dress will lead a caroling processional from Bisbee Lane to the Clocktower, up Guard Hill Rd, looping back on the Narrows Road trails.

They will have hot cocoa for all — so gather your friends and family and come line the streets for a spirited and special morning! (...you never know who might show up from the North Pole...)

Riders are matched with horses and teammates to enjoy a 6-8 mile course together. Read our blog to learn more about pacing.
