“We found for every 10 additional dressage penalties, the risk of [XC] falls increased,” said Dr Cameron-Whytock. “When we explored this further, we saw that combinations that get 70 or more penalties [in dressage] are almost four times more likely to have a fall [XC] than combinations that score less than 70.”

There’s a 7 acre section of the trail known as, “The Wilderness”. Limestone and marble statuary of Greek and Roman mythology are placed throughout to marvel. The centaur must throw the horses for a loop! 🤪
The statues were rendered in the late 1960’s and the 1970’s by Peter Watts (1916 – 2002) and Polish sculptor Jozef Stachura (1923 – 2001).

The Hampton Classic is the country's largest hunter/jumper horse show. With more than 1,200 horses exhibited, the Classic is not only a sporting event of major proportions, but also one of the most extravagant social events of the summer. Manhattan Riding Club
Founded in 2019 to find superior riding experiences around New York City and connect equestrians of all levels. Prior to offering any of our rides, we personally vet each partner to ensure premium riding quality and proper safety for horses and riders.
When you book a ride with MRC, you will be matched with a horse according to your ability, provided with all of the information you need and be connected with other riders in advance. We encourage our riders to travel together.
