Nash got sprayed by skunky’s lover, whom he killed last year….
No worries, Essan knows how to get it off.
My name is Nash! I'm a Rescue dog cheatin' death & working at BAHR!
Hope my journey of beating the odds, living my purpose & helping others!
2/18/21 Surrendered as Blacklisted bite risk
Rescued by Mother Lode Husky Haven
3/24/21 - Adopted by Essan

Happy furry buddies. #2022
BFFs. Nash showing Moose the way…
Bonus points to grouping on top of each other’s poops.
This man was forced to give his dog to the Humane Society due to undergoing lengthy hospital stay. This nurse found out and immediately went to the shelter and adopted his dog. She brings him to visit daily and will return him as soon as the man is released!
Nash learned this trick from being shown.
Not by ESSAN FYI, but another dog.
We call that “grouping.”
Great for the environment and less messy.
Nash loves his white elephant loot.
😂😂😂
Merry Christmas!
Training these two while rehabbing grandmas worse arm. Nash is way easier to train 😂😂😂
Pure Hockey y’all have to know Mallory is & NASH ‘s hero helping save his life. She is also way more patient with the hockey people here in San Jose than I ever will be.
Nash also makes a great greeter, loss prevention & public relations. If he has a thumb I’d train him to sharpen skates and clean my toilets.
He’s a great listener.
Doesn’t tolerate loiterers.
He can sniff out broken brake lines and anomalies with cars.
Just don’t let him AIM FOR THE BUSHES again.
He earns with Pets for Tips
“Make a life by what you get, and make a living by what you give.”
- The late Stan Mikita’s wise words orated by Doug Wilson at his HHOF induction acceptance speech.
This photo is grassroots to its core.
I’m just an immigrant farm boy that wanted to play hockey.
Nash just wanted to love & be loved. The rest is passing it on to those in need & willing to listen.
So build it, PAWdawan Nash and Essan will be there to come help.

Nash got reacquainted with his foster dad Brady from Mother Lode Husky Haven who saved his life.
This dog has surprised me every day I’ve spent with him.
He goes from a blacklisted surrender back in February to meeting thousands of new people, socializing with children, amazing therapy companion to elderly people…. a happy, working dog!
Adopt an animal in need of saving, you never know they may save yours.
I was one of those train wrecks that 99.99% sure Nash wasn’t going to make it past that Labor Day weekend Friday night…
Boy was I proven wrong… by 500+ people, and the veterinary staff that knew Nash is a “Miracle, once-in-a-lifetime dog.”
💙💗💜
The next time you have to go to a veterinary emergency room and are mad that it is taking so long remember this picture. The next time you are angry with the vet assistants, the technicians, or the front desk for how long it’s taking for your dog to be seen for an upset tummy or to look at a torn declaw- behind the scenes we are desperately trying to stabilize someone else’s best friend. The next time you are yelling at the hospital staff for not bringing your pet out in ten minutes- because you “paid your bill so bring my pet out to me” - you really have no idea what is happening behind those doors. Please remember there is so much more happening that you don’t see. Next time you are angry and think I just need some medicine for your furry friend remember an animal Emergency room - we work just like a human emergency room; critical Patients come first. Every time you yell at us for the time it’s taking- behind the scenes we just preformed CPR for 15 - 30 minutes and then comforted and owner that just lost their pet. We are in the industry to be an advocate to those you don’t have a voice. The next time you go to an animal emergency room - we are doing the best we can- be kind, be compassionate, we are there to help.

way more patience in line than Essan.
Also, we Seafood City Calgary we eat it.
First bath in 2 months!
Used the whole 25 minute timer to remove residual fentanyl patch residue, shampoo, condition, clean ears, and 15 minutes to blow dry.
Way easier to use that Stand up shower at home or work sink.
Hi everyone I’m Jenny! I’m still patiently waiting for a family to come meet me and I can finally go to my furever home. I love people, I will be the first to greet you when you get home. Nash knows he’s with his people. 🥰🐕
He’s (WE) never been around this many people until yesterday!
He was gentle, no signs of aggression, and bonded with my 1-year old nephew Solo.
The best moment is (Pug) Rainbow sliding towards Nash towards the end of the party and bonding right away…
I truly believe it’s never too late to imprint & influence change.
Maybe I’m a sucker for fixing what I can, but Nash has paid it back and is the best part of my life now.
I’ll need another blank notebook to keep track of his progress…

6 week post-op X-ray findings and overall recovery assessment. We’ll go back again in 6 weeks for more X-rays.
Nash NEEDS a BATH!
One refill of anti-inflammatory medication, TLC, and progressive physical therapy.
You can’t see his scars anymore, all but a memory.
Thanks y’all who pitched in to save his life.

Daily positive progress with Nash.
His days are full of socializing, multiple naps, and slowly more play time.
He has almost mastered his temporary limitations.
Can barely see the scars
Winter (coat) is coming…
Will Nash be ready for ODR? (outdoor hockey)
I made 5 MISTAKES that night:
▶️ I did not have Kong squeaky ball
▶️ We took elevator instead of stairs
▶️ Kept Nash off leash too long ( SJ Giants game went to 10th inning before fireworks show )
▶️ I was too busy Snapchatting
▶️ Should have held him towards end of this Video…
30 seconds later, lady near us screams “Your dog just jumped over the wall!!!”
I didn’t see him jump.
If you look at video at 15 second mark, he was looking at something on the other side (10th street) of parking structure. There’s no one there….
I did hear sideshow vehicles driving by right after this video ends…. It happens almost ONCE a week since last summer.
There was an incident at the shop the next afternoon 9/4 that’s suspicious…
We’ll never know what spooked Nash.
SJSU PD won’t release video footage.
I want to find the poor woman that saw him jump, and the 3 ladies that pulled over, blocked traffic and bystanders & keep Nash company while I ran to get my car to take him to ER.
I didn’t realize my face was bloodied from breathing through his bloody nose until MedVet noticed it.

Saw a posting about Nash via Grandma Bert's Fb newsfeed March 18th... had to reach out to Brady at Mother Lode Husky Haven and meet this poor dog...
There was no way this turd was a vicious bite risk...
