ALPACA SPAM🫶🏽

We’ve been MIA (missing in action). We are back with full swings ahead ready for the next few weeks and months.

We did a gorgeous wedding last year that we loved so much but as it was the girls first we thought they needed a well earned break.

We are expecting a little baby 🦙 soon. We did mate 2 of the 4 girls we have but we are only 100% certain one is pregnant as we can see baby moving LOTS!

SHAVEN AND STUNNING😎

Our girls have loved having their coats off for this hot heat wave we have had this year! We have learnt so much about these beautiful girls in the run up to almost having them for a year!

They are so inquisitive and love every second watching what we get up to on the farm!

BROWN BEAUT🤍

Thelma and the rest of the girls have been sheared for summer!! Even though this weather is very confusing for them they are so much more comfortable in their own skin now that they don’t have their thick fleece.

We are animal lovers from the very start, running a small farm in Burnley Lancashire we have always been passionate about animals! We also have a sister business, as well as working full time in other jobs too🤣

OUR FIRST WEDDING ALPACKAGE🤍

What an honour it was to celebrate the wedding of Zayannah and Alex.
We couldn’t be happier for the newly weds!

Our first wedding alpackage went down a real treat, our girls Thelma and Mozzarella stole the hearts of all guests big and small.

We really could not have done this without the amazing support from . A perfect venue on our doorstep we are so lucky to have!

MEET MISTRO😎

The baby daddy… MISTRO! Our neighbours black beauty has worked his magic on our girls Martha and Bertha and safe to say… we definitely have one pregnant alpaca… time will tell for the second😁

Our wonderful neighbour who we got the girls from takes amazing care of his herd and his boys!

TRAVELLING IN STYLE😍‼️

We have been so incredibly busy as we have a couple of 2022 weddings coming up to get the girls up to scratch📸

We have had lots to contend with these last few weeks, we had a scare with one of our girls being very poorly, she is gladly on the mend thankfully but this did set us back slightly!

We have had breeding season… the craziest experience we have endured with them but very educational to say the least🥴🥴

These two are this years wedding guest, Mozzarella (white) and Thelma (brown) … they can’t wait to show you their stuff 💅🏻💅🏻

So very proud of them and how far they have come in a matter of weeks. They’ve earned a good old break for the next two weeks whilst we are off on our holibobs, they’re tucking into the field full of lush grass😍😍

An exciting weekend coming up in a couple of weeks with our girls… breeding season commences and our wonderful neighbours will be producing them for us! Only 11 months to wait for them 🤍🤣

So the girls have been enjoying being out and about in the field for the last few weeks whist we have been busy lambing.

We’ve got an exciting few months planned to get the girls ready for their first weddings of THIS YEAR!

We love that some of our enquiries for peoples big days are keeping the girls as a complete surprise for their guests so they will not have a clue! How exciting 🦙🦙🦙

FEEDING TIME AT THE ZOO🤍

An exciting month up ahead with some surprises in place and lots of planning to look forwards to! We are so so excited for this years weddings and cannot wait to get to the fayres!

Our girls have been back out in the field whilst we have been very busy lambing and organising too! They LOVE being out, sunbathing everyday, rolling in the dust and nosying around at the neighbours🦙🤍📸

CUDDLES AND KISSES🤍

So very exciting. This weekend has been filled with our wedding guests coming round and seeing the girls for the first time.

We simply cannot wait to share their big days with them and bring THE WHOLE ALPACKAGE to you!

FEEDING TIME AT THE ZOO😆

Our beautiful girls have had a fair few visitors now. They are loving the affection and grub to go along with it. We also have lots going on in the background to get us wedding fayre ready, we just need to get out to some!! For the start it will be Jake and myself Lucy going to the fayres when we aren’t working🥴🥴 in the hope that in the near future our girls can come too😊

SELFIE TIME🤍

What a Monday… if you don’t start off with a alpaca selfie? Slowing but surely the girls are getting so so so confident!

We are very excited because soon, we will be able to put them into Cria (baby alpaca). First we have to get through lambing 🤣

HEADCOLLAR TRAINING🤍🦙

Finally… we are able to get Thelma into her headcollar. They have surprisingly large or should I say XL heads. Ordering a medium did not go anywhere near the size we needed for the girls! But here we have it… posing all the way🤩

3 more ordered and soon they will all be styling their head collars… can’t wait to see them🤍🤍

BERTHA BOOP🤍

We had an exciting conversation yesterday with another potential venue! We can’t wait to get out the wedding fayres and answer all the questions and enquiries that you have!

For now… our girls are inside wrapped up nice and warm and will be for the coming months, where we will be focusing on lambing our sheep!

SPIT HAPPENS🤣

Thelma warning off Martha away from her food bowl… the only time I have ever seen the girls spit and a photo capture right before🤣

Spit happens eh? Haha.

A very rare occasion, they only spit when they feel threatened through feeding, or competing for things such as mating with a male alpaca. It is extremely rare that they would spit at humans.

You wouldn’t believe it, 4 alpacas, 4 feed bowls, of course they all want each other’s … literally like children!!

QUESTION TIME🤩👀

How far will we be travelling?
We will travel up to an hour with the alpacas, however this will be reflected in the price we provide.

What areas are you covering?
Burnley, Worsthorne, Cliviger, Colne, Clitheroe, Whalley, Gisburn. East Lancashire predominantly.

What to expect at wedding fayres?
Come along and meet The Whole Alpackage team, the girls may come along with us to specific wedding fayres but this will depend on the venue.

What do the alpacas do at an event?
This will vary depending on the alpackage you chose. They will be in a penned area, open for petting, feeding and interacting with guests.

We are so incredibly lucky to be working alongside who are literally a stone throw away from where we are with our alpacas!

A perfect venue, with views for days, and so much to offer! A wonderful team of people ready to bring you the best day of your life!

MEET MOZZARELLA 🤍

This is Mozzarella. Last but by no means least is our youngest baba of the girls. She is absolutely adorable and has the biggest eyes out of all of our girls.

She too is a pearly white girl (when clean) and is a little smaller than Martha so we can easily tell these two apart.

Fun Fact time for you all… the girl squad will all line up together and go to the toilet at the same time, usually in the same area!?! Who knew it?

We are yet to hear Mozzarella, she’s not very vocal like the others… but time will certainly tell!

Now you’ve met our girls… what more do you want to see👀👀👀👀

MEET MARTHA 🤍🦙

This is Martha. Our pearly white (unless she’s been rolling) older girl. She is soo very cute and of course is first to get in for a close up selfie.

Martha is not as food orientated as our other two greedy girls, but with plenty of variety in her diet she will absolutely LOVE it like the others in no time at all.

Check out our Cheeky girl Bertha behind giving Jake a close up smooch. Oh and whilst we are here… this is Jake.

Jake has many years of experience in dealing with a wide variety of animals. He runs to an extremely high quality and is adored by all animals 🤍

We will properly introduce you to our Whole Alpackage Team in the coming weeks🤍

MEET BERTHA 🤍

This is Bertha. She is absolutely gorgeous and is a fawny colour. She looks just like a fudge. Bertha stands out from the others because of her colouring, she has a light brown strip down her back area and her floof on her head too!

She has seriously long eyelashes and would blink you into oblivion. Bertha is around 6 years old. Did you know alpacas can live up to 20 years old? Not long enough we think!!!

Bertha is a real foodie… she loves her mix that she gets but even better when we add the extras into her tea she wolfs it down in no time.

Bertha is so loving and is very intrigued to know what is going on in her field. Bertha, like the others are very nosey!!

MEET THELMA 🦙🤎

This is Thelma. She is the oldest girl we have in our pack and is the mother and grandmother of our other girls.

She is the most confident and leads the girls up the field when we shout “cmon girlies”. She LOVES her grub, she’s always the first for the bucket!

Thelma is getting used to her name, previously called something else but we have a theme for our girls as you will see in the coming weeks.

She’s very calm, she alerts the pack when there is something interesting in the field other than us. She makes a loud hooo hooo sound!

Thelma, with her being the most confident will be the first to trial out our new headcollars and lead ropes, as you can tell she already loves a cuddle and selfie🤎

HERE COME THE GIRLS 🦙

Our girls. The fantastic four. They are simply amazing, we are also incredibly lucky to have grandma, mother and daughter as well as an adopted daughter!

We will gradually introduce you to our girls one by one where you will get to know lots more about each one of them.

One of the most common questions asked were about them spitting. Alpacas will only spit when they feel under threat/compete for food or a mate.They mostly do this when they are angry or annoyed. They are so very intelligent and their body language tells us a LOT about what they are feeling. Literally from their head to their toes, including their tails🦙
