We just wanted to take a moment and reflect on the rescue boy who started us on the path to inviting pets from all over into our home.
In the coldest part of winter at the end of 2021 a small, hungry, beaten up puppy was brought to my house with his two remaining siblings. His Momma, a well known and scary free range pitty named Sway, brought them over because it was cold and they had nowhere to stay. I brought the babies in and tucked the parents into the shed for the night.
Since then we have had a series of foster dogs come and go, some staying longer than others. We built our business around supporting the community, ourselves and those who need it most.
Today this sweet boy sets the tone for our doggos here at MVCS, trying to make all the friends. We hope to continue helping those in need, regardless of their beginnings.

Hello Friends!

As we enter the new year MVCS will have some changes to our fee schedule. We have been up and running for 18 months now and have some minor adjustments to make. The largest will be the new, non-refundable deposit that will be due at the time of reservation. The new schedule is listed below and will come into effect on 1/1/2024.

We need this sweet boy to find a new home ASAP. “Harley is a sweet boy with lots of energy! He does great with other dogs and is fully crate trained. He loves a good romp at the dog park and at daycare. He wants nothing more than to play with his favorite toy and snuggle with you. Harley is overwhelmed by living in such a densely populated neighborhood - he is overstimulated by the near-constant presence of runners, walkers, and school-aged children. He deserves a home with lots of room to run that is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. He is wary of loud noises and of people approaching him while on the leash, but is easily redirected/reassured by food. He is particularly wary of men and children. His new home should be child-free. Help me provide Harley with the home environment he deserves!” Message us at MVCS and we can put you in touch with the current owner.

In lieu of yesterday’s announcement we feel it is important to share what MVCS will be using to treat the facilities from here on out. Based on the health and welfare of your pets and the needs of the environment I have chosen these two products. Most of you bring adult dogs who are protected from parvo, make sure you keep your pets up to date. Puppies will no longer be allowed if they have not had their vaccines.
